Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Bacon get “R.I.P.D.” in Boston

Wow, talk about some Monday eye candy!! Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Bacon were photographed with an equally sexy Dodge Challenger while filming a scene for their new movie, R.I.P.D. in Boston, Massachusetts on Monday, September 12th, 2011.

Ryan is making me super swoon in his black, long sleeve shirt and charcoal grey pants! He even has a leather jacket under his arm that he will probably rock while playing the role of Nick Walker.

Based on the comic by Peter M. Lenkov, Ryan stars as the aforementioned Walker, a murdered cop who joins the Rest In Peace Department–a police force comprised of ghosts who battle spirits unready to depart this world. He does so in exchange for the chance to hunt down his murderer, who will be played by Bacon.

Jeff Bridges will play the role of Nick’s ghostly partner Bo who takes the shape of supermodel Marissa Miller when he is in human form!

Finally a film with a totally different premise than everything else out there!

Hugh Jackman gets ready to battle in Munich

With his European promotional tour taking him to Germany, Hugh Jackman posed with a giant metal robot at a photo call for his movie Reel Steel on Monday, September 12th, 2011. Joining him at the Bayerischer Hof in Munich was director Shawn Levy who also had a bit of fun with photographers.

The Aussie hunk stars in the Sci-Fi drama in the role of Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal.

After hitting rock bottom, Kenton teams up with his estranged son Max with hopes to train into a championship contender.

Real Steel opens in US theaters on October 7th.

Bradley Cooper and Ron Rifkin enjoy an “Alias” reunion!!!

With everyone focusing on the latest rumors about the Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lopez date, they might have missed this amazing reunion that took place at the 2011 US Open this weekend! Cooper was reunited with former Alias co-star Ron Rifkin during the women’s finals match against Serena Williams in Flushing Meadows, New York on Sunday, September 11th, 2011.

When I opened up my photo agencies to see what went up while I slept, my jaw instantly dropped and my eyes widened seeing this reunion!! It’s been a hot second since we’ve seen, not just Ron Rifkin out and about, but any members of the Alias cast together again.

I love how both Bradley and Mr. Rifkin were as excited to spend time together as we were to witness it, they were spotted snapping pictures with their camera phones!

As much as our girl Miss Bee loves to hate on Will Tippin (played by the super sexy Bradley!), I wish there had been more of him in later seasons.

Rifkin, who played Sloane–one of my favorite tv baddies of all-time, was joined by his wife Iva.

Now if only someone had invited Vaughn (Michael Vartan) and Spy Daddy (Victor Garber) over for a mini-reunion with these two guys, I could have easily died a happy woman.

Spartacus star Andy Whitfield dies at age 39

It is with an extremely heavy heart that we have to announce the death of Spartacus star Andy Whitfield at the age of thirty nine. The Australian actor succumbed to non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in Sydney according to his wife Vashti who released a statement calling her husband a “beautiful young warrior” who died on a “sunny Sydney morning” in the “arms of his loving wife.”

Andy, who was born in Wales, found fame across the globe while starring as the lead in the Starz drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand but was not able to return for a second season after being diagnosed with early-stage non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend and colleague, Andy Whitfield,” said Starz president and CEO Chris Albrecht. “We were fortunate to have worked with Andy in Spartacus and came to know that the man who played a champion on-screen was also a champion in his own life. Andy was an inspiration to all of us as he faced this very personal battle with courage, strength and grace. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. He will live on in the hearts of his family, friends and fans.”

When we spoke to series creator Steven DeKnight at Comic Con, he would not give us an update on Andy’s health but did tell me he hoped to work with him again on a different type of project.

I pray for his loved ones during this sad…sad time. May you rest in peace.

Elizabeth Olsen and Sarah Paulson step out pretty for premiere

Beautiful blonds Elizabeth Olsen and Sarah Paulson stepped out to the Martha Marcy May Marlene premiere held at Ryerson Theatre during the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday, September 11th, 2011 in Toronto, Canada. They were joined by fellow actor Hugh Dancy and Director Sean Durkin.

Both women wore beautiful dresses with each showing off their uniqueness with their choices.  The length and vibrant colors of Olsen’s dress shows how you can take summers popular flower pattern into the fall.

In this dramatic film, the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen stars in the role of Maggie, a young woman who flees from an abusive cult in the Catskill Mountains that is led by an enigmatic leader, Patrick (John Hawkes). Lucy (Paulson), Martha’s older sister, receives a call from a pay phone one day from Martha, asking her to come and get her.

Martha, who has been missing for months, slowly begins to assimilate into her sister’s family, but her increasing paranoia leads her to believe that Patrick and his cult may still be watching her every move.

Martha Marcy May Marlene is set for a limited release in the United States on October 21, 2011.

Exclusive: Carrie Preston talks ‘True Blood’ season finale

With the season four finale upon us, it’s a bittersweet day for True Blood fans. This has absolutely been the best season of the show so far and I can’t wait to see what Alan Ball and all the writers have in store for us tonight!

I had the pleasure to talk to Carrie Preston, who plays Merlotte’s resident red head Arlene Fowler on the HBO supernatural hit drama this week to gain a little insight as to what might be going down.

Things got right-down crazy for Arlene when she was confronted with her biggest fears, that her son Mikey (by ex-fiance and season 1′s serial killer Rene Lenier) would turn out to be just as his evil as his father. Her current husband Terry Bellefleur (Todd Lowe) is a down-right nice guy and won’t be as easily convinced……

……until weird things start happening in the Bellefleur household that freak everyone into believing that Arlene might have been on to something!

Rosy: “Things got crazy for Arlene this season, that storyline with the baby was bananas! Now that they Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) and Jesus (Kevin Alejandro) have helped the spirit cross over, will Arlene still be worried about Rene somehow affecting little Mikey?

Carrie: “I think that is something that she will always be concerned about, it’s not something that is easily fixed. It didn’t really get answered, she learned that her baby was not being possesed by him but the baby was being controlled by something so that was scary!

I feel like she is always going to have one eye out for Rene’s influence.”

Rosy: “Arlene has always had a distaste for the vampires and now with witches and werewolves in town, how has she been able to cope?”

Carrie: “She doesn’t really know about the werewolves and the shape shifters because they aren’t really out but as far as the witches she had her experience with Holly (Lauren Bowles) out in the woods in season three when she tried to help her “release” the baby.

I think that experience was probably be enough for her as far as witchcraft is concerned. Arelene is definitely someone who gets a little concerned when its something that she doesn’t understand.

Those kinds of things scare her, she’s a very practical woman.

With the vampires being so prevalent in society right now that she is starting to have come to terms with them and find a way to accept them and tolerate them. So let’s see how long that holds.”

Rosy: “There is a rumor floating around that you won’t be back next season. Is this true? If so, what will happen to Arlene?”

Carrie: “I can’t really answer to anything that happens beyond this season. I think you’ll have a better sense of who’s around and who’s not at the end of the finale of this season.

Rosy: In Sunday’s episode, Terry went back to look for Andy after their showdown. Now Andy is back but no sign of Terry. Is there something wrong?

Carrie: “Terry was out looking for Andy because he hadn’t come home yet. He was out making love to a fairy! He was out in the woods hooking up with that fairy.

Terry didn’t know what was going so he went out to look for him while Arlene was waiting at home.

When Andy came in it was a really wonderful scene I got to do with Chris Bauer, I was very happy about that. You got to see a little tender moment between Andy Bellefleur and Arlene Fowler which was not something anyone was expecting.

We were very pleased with that scene. That day was just full of ease and grace.”

Rosy: “Speaking of the Andy/Fairy hook-up, is there anything you can tell us about that?”

Carrie: “Your guess is as good as mine! We don’t really know where that is going to go but certainly his mind was opened and it seemed like some kind of opening to the fairy world as well.

Which we hadn’t really touched on since the premiere of this season.

Rosy: “Arlene was involved with the wiccans before. Will she have any more involvement with them?”

Carrie: “I think that for Arlene she’s most comfortable with things that she understands. Anything outside of her realm of understanding something that I think, she wants to avoid.

But it was interesting to see her in a scene when that spirit came out of Lafayette’s body and Arlene was there to witness it. I think that was an interesting moment for her to experience something outside of the practical world.

I’m curious to see if that will have any effect on her.”

Rosy: “What can you tease us about the overall finale? Will we lose any main characters?”

Carrie: “Well you’re definitely going to experience one of our biggest cliff hangers yet! But that’s no surprise, it’s True Blood.

You can’t have a season finale and not have a huge cliffhanger but this one is pretty extraordinary.

Rosy: “What other projects are you working on?”

Carrie: “I just shot a film in Nebraska called Vino Veritas and it was an independant film and it was just four actors. It was a lot of work but a lot of fun.

The movie I directed during last hiatus is now being submitted to festivals so I’m spending a lot of time and energy to get that out into the world. It’s called, “That’s What She Said” and it stars Anne Heche.

I’m also writing a web series and I’ve been shooting a little bit of that that I’m starring in. It’s called The Dody Show so I’m doing a lot of stuff with my production company Daisy 3 Pictures.

I’m a little worried that Arlene and Terry will be pretty sick of having all this supernatural drama going on around them that they might want to round up the kids and get out of dodge. Who wants to raise their children around all the madness that has taken over Bon Temps?

We can’t end a True Blood finale discussion without mentioning the Sookie (Anna Paquin), Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), and Bill (Stephen Moyer) love triangle!! I think you all know who I’m rooting for!! I’m just sad we didn’t get any Sookie/Alcide (Joe Manganiello) love going on but I think that might be a good set-up for next season.

Especially now with Debbie (Brit Morgan) out of the picture!

To stay up-to-date on all things Carrie Preston, make sure to follow her on Twitter via this link and check out her official website here and her production company Daisy 3 Pictures via this link.

Carrie also chatted with us about all the fun things she is doing during New York Fashion Week which we will feature with some of her looks over at CurvyChica.com later today.

Don’t forget to tune in to the season finale of True Blood tonight on HBO!
