Colin Firth and wife Livia rock the red carpet in Venice

After a day full of promotion, Colin Firth and his stunning wife Livia walked the red carpet the for Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy premiere during the 68th Venice International Film Festival at the Palazzo del Cinema on Monday, September 5th, 2011 in Venice, Italy. Joining the Firth’s were his co-stars Gary Oldman and wife Alexandra Edenborough, John Hurt who was accompanied by his wife Ann Rees Meyers, Mark Strong and his wife Liza Marshall, and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Set in the 1970s, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy finds George Smiley (Oldman), a recently retired MI6 agent, doing his best to adjust to a life outside the secret service. However, when a disgraced agent reappears with information concerning a mole at the heart of the Circus, Smiley is drawn back into the murky field of espionage.

Tasked with investigating which of his trusted former colleagues has chosen to betray him and their country, Smiley narrows his search to four suspects – all experienced, urbane, successful agents – but past histories, rivalries and friendships make it far from easy to pinpoint the man who is eating away at the heart of the British establishment.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is set for a US release on December 9th, 2011.

Hugh Jackman rejoins family and pup Peaches in Paris

Does Hugh Jackman ever have a day where he looks bad? GOOD LORDY he looks good!! The 42-year-old Aussie was welcomed back to Paris by his wife Debora-Lee Furness and their children Oscar and Ava on Sunday, September 4th, 2011.

But what Jackson family reunion would be complete without their precious French bulldog, Peaches! Even though you might think the adorable pup may feel quite at home being that she is a Frenchie and all but it they are actually a combination of an American and English bulldog.

The more you know……

Hugh just returned from a solo trip to Budapest where he kicked off promotions for his new film, Real Steel. He will continue promotions later this week at Le Grand Rex, Paris’s largest cinema!

Real Steel is set to premiere in the US on October 7th, 2011.

Colin Firth and Gary Oldman step out at the Venice Film Festival

Two of my favorite British stars, Colin Firth and Gary Oldman attended the Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy Photocall during the 68th Venice International Film Festival held at the Palazzo del Casino on Monday, September 5th, 2011 in Venice, Italy.

They were joined by producers Tim Bevan, Robyn Slovo, filmmaker Tomas Alfredson and actors John Hurt, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Mark Strong.

The thriller takes place in the bleak days of the Cold War, espionage veteran George Smiley (Oldman) is forced from semi-retirement to uncover a Soviet agent within MI6′s echelons.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is set for a US release on December 9th, 2011.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt take the kiddies to the movies

I cannot believe how BIG Knox and Vivienne are!! I got so used to seeing them being carried around like babies that now that they are walking, it’s just unbelievable!!

Busy parents Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt took their kiddies to watch the Smurfs on the big screen at the Odeon Cinema in Richmond, London, UK on Sunday, September 4th, 2011. The group included 6-year-old Zahara, 5-year-old Shiloh, twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline– 3-years-old, and an extremely shy Pax, who shielded his face from the prying lenses.

The Jolie-Pitt’s have been spending a lot of time in Europe while Brad shoots the zombie film, World War X.

Jared Leto tries to stay incognito under a hat

No matter the size of the hat you wear Mr. Jared Leto, there is no way you can hide that pretty face of yours! 39-year-old Leto was photographed leaving the Chilli Cook-Off with a few friends (one of which looks like Balthazar Getty, but I couldn’t confirm!) on Saturday, September 3rd, 2011 in Malibu, California.

Looking hot in an all black ensemble, the Mr. Nobody star attempted to hide his face from cameras by hiding under his fedora.

Was anyone else pissed off that 30 Seconds to Mars lost at the MTV Video Music Awards last weekend? Jared and his bandmates Shannon Leto and Tom Milicevic earned the nominations in three categories for their video, Hurricane.

The Inbetweeners Movie getting a US release date?

I’ve been seriously peeved about hearing how amazing The InBetweeners Movie is since there had been no plans to release it in the United States. All I had were hopes and dreams that when I returned to London for the holidays in December I’d be lucky enough to snag it on DVD.

But a new article has given me hope that Jay (James Buckley), Neal (Blake Harrison), Will (Simon Bird) and Simon (Joe Thomas) may be crossing the pond after all!

A source at film sales company IM Global said: “The movie has been doing extremely well in the UK and we are very pleased with the results.

“The sales team is currently in discussions with US distributors regarding this film.”

The film picks up after the boys have graduated high school and are looking to do a little celebrating. They head off on holiday to Malia, Crete where they will no doubt find non-stop parties and hot ladies!

Gabrielle Union was spotted showing off her curves in a Miami Heat bikini while spending the day with boyfriend Dwyane Wade and his two boys Zion and Zaire on Saturday, September 3rd, 2011. Wade, one of the Heat’s most valuable players, has been dating the Cadillac Records actress since at least 2008.

You gotta love how supportive Gabrielle is of Wade’s team, she is rockin’ the Heat’s fiyah on both the top and bottom of her swim suit. Not to be outdone, Dwyane showed some love to the New York Yankees on his visor!
