Eva Longoria and Demi Moore enjoy a power lunch

Eva Longoria and Demi Moore made an appearance at Variety’s 3rd Annual Power of Women Luncheon held at The Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Friday, September 23rd, 2011. They were joined by Olivia Wilde, Glee star Lea Michele, Dancing with the Stars competitor Ricki Lake, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ana De La Reguera, and Annette Bening who was accompanied by her legendary husband Warren Beatty.

My favorite thing about seeing this many women together is to check them out for current trends. Two things I noticed off the bat were the rich shades of lipstick worn by Olivia Wilde and Annette Bening! My hats off to the latter for going for such a bold red!

Click here to find some gorgeous shades like Olivia and Annette are wearing from Estee Lauder, CoverGirl, Make Up For Ever, and MAC Cosmetics!

Another trend I was surprised to see was how many women wore white/ivory! It seems like the stigma of not wearing white after Labor Day is mostly gone.

Demi rocked the look best because she paired her ensemble with an animal print shoe.  If you are going to go with a solid color dress you should have a bit of fun and pair it with a funky shoe.

Whose look did you enjoy the most?

Robert Downey Jr keeps things fun on the set of Sherlock Holmes

Funny-man Robert Downey Jr looks to be having a good ol’ time while back on the set of Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows. Photographers caught RDJ while joking around and having a laugh in London, England on Friday, September 23rd, 2011.

I could have sworn they were done shooting this highly anticipated sequel earlier this year? Could they be doing re-shoots?

The Iron Man star returns to the popular role as the world’s most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and Jude Law returns as his formidable colleague, Dr. Watson. Also spotted on location yesterday was Rachel McAdams who returns as the spicy Irene Adler.

Sherlock Holmes 2 is set to release on December 17th, 2011.

Robert Pattinson scores hot deals on furniture in Los Angeles

The Twilight Saga hunk Robert Pattinson stunned fellow Los Angeles shoppers when he showed up at uber popular vintage furniture shop This Is Not Ikea (T.I.N.I.) with a friend yesterday. Pattinson et al spent almost 2 hours browsing the store sifting through various artifacts looking for that perfect find.

It probably took that long because poor Rob stopped to pose with eager fans, who went on to talk about how nice he is!

Sadly girlfriend Kristen Stewart wasn’t present, though it is being reported that the furniture is meant for their LA love nest.

For those of you dying to know more about the pieces he picked up, I’ve got all the details. I must say, someone must have tipped him off to this recently expanded shop. He got some great deals!

Sofia Vergara pimps Kmart clothing collection on Letterman

One of my favorite people to see being interviewed is CoverGirl spokesperson Sofia Vergara! This Latina beauty is always so HILARIOUS and witty, you never know what is going to come out of her mouth.

Last night she visited The Late Show with David Letterman at the Ed Sullivan Theater to promote her fall collection with Kmart called Sofia by Sofia Vergara. I love that she arrived wearing pieces from the line especially the stunning dress she rocked during the interview! (For details on the pieces she wore and for a peek at the collection click here)

Earlier in the day, the Modern Family actress held a special meet-and-greet at a New York store which you can see from the photo above.

During the Letterman interview, Sofia talked about her extended family from Colombia coming to support her during the Emmy Awards, her son Manolo and his acting ambitions, which was followed by a weird joke about greasing a bobcat. Don’t worry chica, I didn’t get it either!

Keanu Reeves calls it a night in Los Angeles

What better way to kick-off a fabulous Friday than with some new images of our beloved Keanu Reeves?! The handsome 47-year-old actor was photographed making his way back to his motorcycle after dining at Spago in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday, September 22nd, 2011.

Casting rumors have hit the net this morning suggesting Twilight actor Cam Gigandet is being considered for the role of Johnny Utah (played originally by Reeves) in the Point Break re-make.

I know that we’ve discussed how much we don’t want to see the 1991 film re-made but since it’s going to move forward regardless, do you think Gigandet would be able to live up to Keanu’s version?

‘The Office’: New manager, new babies, new Scranton?

*Spoiler Alert!*

Planking drove me crazy for the few weeks it dominated on the Internet. So, of course, The Office would spoof the whole ridiculous concept as its opener.

The questions surrounding season 8 have been flying around in my head the second season 7 ended and we were left wondering who would be manager. So who took on the role of Michael Scott’s (Steve Carell) role as office head?!

None other than Andy Bernard!

How do I feel about this? I had a feeling it was going to be Andy (Ed Helms), he is after all– one of the most famous Cornell grad’s EVER! If you didn’t already know, Robert California (James Spader) was originally hired for the Regional Manager position, but due to his brilliance, was able to take over as CEO.

Several other major announcements were made very quickly. We found out there are two mamas-to-be at the Scranton branch: Pam (Jenna Fisher), which we already knew about, but Angela (Angela Kinsey) too? Oh, and she married the Senator as well….huh?

Pam is already showing her preggers emotions complete with sobbing over the dog commercial and his beloved bone (you know, the one about investing your money?) at her desk. Let the water works begin!

Things really started to turn when Robert left his notebook open on Erin’s desk with two lists of names: some of the office staff on the left side, and the others on the right. After everyone freaks out, Andy confronts him about the list and gets a weird response. Well, basically everything that comes out of Spader’s mouth is a bit off. Who is this man?

Robert then asks half of the office out to lunch including Jim (John Krasinski) and Dwight (Rainn Wilson), leaving the others back wondering why they were left behind. Quickly it is discovered that California has split the office into two categories: “winners” and “losers.” Worried manager Andy decides to have a pizza party with his fellow “losers” to lighten the mood. But the tears begin to flow for Pam once again, when she realizes she is not on the winning side of the list.

This whole plot creates a strong man in Andy’s character causing him to stand up to the mysterious CEO and make his voice heard. When Robert starts preaching about his thoughts on the winners and losers of the office, it all boiled down to Andy standing up for his fellow co-workers who were not getting the credit they deserved. This was the first side of Andy really being a manager.

Is Robert doing these things on purpose to make a statement or to get Andy to react What is his mission? I’m not sure if the word jerk should be tattooed across his forehead or if he is twisting with everyone for a positive ending.

The characters on this show have changed over the seasons, and it does worry me where they are leading with the many changes that have occurred. Despite the episode having their funny moments, the material just can’t compare. The show is now in a rebuilding phase, trying to find a new path and voice.

This mainly is on the shoulders on Andy and how he carries the role as manager. Ed Helms plays such a great supporting role on the series, but I’m not too sure about him playing boss. He’s such a softy, and I know he stood up the Robert about casting out several workers but he’s just a big old sweetie in the end.

The story behind tonight was the fact that everyone has a piece of winner inside of them, but is the big picture still “winner” material? With the first episode under the belt of a new era, only time will tell!

As a loyal and beloved fan, Dunder Mifflin will always have a place in my heart and I will continue to support the show until the very end. Even with the awkward moments, the writers always seem to bring little scenes that are unforgettable. Case in point: Jim “ accidentally” dropping a list including Pam, CeCe, and the new baby on the left and everyone else on the right. He just melts my heart every time.

Some things will never change.

Jennifer Lopez and Jason Statham enjoy the South Florida sunshine

Shooting continued on the crime/thriller Parker on Thursday, September 22nd, 2011 in Boca Raton, Florida. Both Jennifer Lopez and Jason Statham were spotted on set receiving direction from director Taylor Hackford.

I would guess that Ms. Lopez was feeling comfortable in her skirt suit out in this heat more so than Statham who is in a full suit and cowboy boots!

I’m not sure how many fans might be trying to get attention from the Bronx babe but she seems to have protection from both private security and the local police department. I’d personally want to meet Mr. Hot Stuff Statham if I really had the choice! ;)

Shooting will continue in the South Florida area for at least another week.
