Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner leave their mark on Hollywood

It’s official! The Twilight Saga stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have left a permanent mark on Hollywood! The uber famous trio posed for photographers as they sunk their hanks and feet into wet cement at The Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California on Thursday, November 3rd, 2011.

Also in attendance were Twilight author Stephenie Meyer and comedian Jimmy Kimmell who helped introduce Rob, Kristen and Taylor. (As if they needed an introduction!)

This event officially kicks into high gear promotions for the penultima film of the series entitled, Breaking Dawn Part 1.

I seriously hope permanent security arrangements have been set-up for this block of cement! This must already be the most wanted piece of Twilight memorabilia! (Aside from one of them in the flesh of course!)

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 hits theaters on November 18th, 2011.

Hugh Jackman takes a bite of a little apple in The Big Apple

Oh if only I could die and be re-born an apple only to meet my end by being on the receiving end of a delicious bite from Hugh Jackman….I would do it! This has to be a first for me I must say, I’d never have imagined I’d be jealous of a fruit!

The Real Steel hunk-a-saurus rex was photographed with wife Deborah-Lee Furness and their daughter Ava enjoying the weather in New York, New York on Thursday, November 2nd, 2011. Poor Hugh looked surprised that the paparazzi would actually take an interest in what types of fruits he eats!

Speaking of the robotic action film which has been a hit with audiences, Mr. Jackman said there might be a sequel in the works! I had no idea it was set-up to be left open-ended for the possibility of a future film.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed!

Glee: “Pot O Gold”

I have to wonder after seeing this most recent episode of Glee if executive producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk are too busy with American Horror Story to pay any attention to their singing cash cow. “Pot O Gold” was written by Ali Adler who is new to the Glee team and the ex-girlfriend of Sarah Gilbert and it was a big mess.

The dilemma this week, as with most weeks, is that Sue is still on her tired and at this point ridiculous campaign to cut funding for the arts in school all because she hates Will Schuster’s hair. Some weeks Sue is funny but this was not one of those weeks. Each season she seems to evolve just a little only to be reset back to default settings. I really thought we had broken through a wall with the death of her sister and her seemingly genuine appreciation for what the New Directions did for her, but that is all gone and I am getting bored with her fast.

Also boring but in a different way is the manic schizophrenic bi-polar-esque breakdown of Quinn Fabray. She started out this year as a pink haired skank channeling Betty Rizzo and now she’s back to wearing sweaters and pretending to want to sing while she plots the reacquisition of the baby she gave up for adoption back in season one. Quinn has acknowledged since day one that she doesn’t believe there is any future for her outside of Lima, Ohio but I don’t understand why she wants the baby back so badly and so suddenly. For someone so down on herself she seems strangely confident that she’d be an amazing mother despite having no discernable income to speak of and the only prospects for a man to help out being Puck who only wants to clean pools and doesn’t seem all that into her anyway. But she’s only 17 and teens are stupid! Maybe so, but I don’t buy it. Further adding to this mess is her plan to have Shelby declared unfit. Puck quickly realizes this plan is cray cray and sabotages the plot before it gets out of hand. Oh and he spent half the episode with his shirt off so YAY PUCK!

Speaking of cray cray, Brittany took her special blend of nutty to a whole new level this by believing her new live-in exchange student Roy Flanagan is a leprechaun. I feel bad for Damian McGinty that his introduction to the show after winning The Glee Project was so silly and contrived. The gag was old before the first commercial break and they drug it out for the entire hour! He did get two good songs in though, and the boy can sing. The good news though is that Brittany and Santana are officially dating and I think “officially” means “secretly” in this case. And Santana uses her power over Brittany to lure her into joining Shelby’s all girl show choir The Troubletones. With New Directions splintered Roy gets his chance to shine despite being shoved around the halls of McKinley by jocks with inexplicably epic mullets.

With so little to like about this episode I must give mad props to Burt Hummel. His decision (with some prodding from Will) to run for Congress against Sue was the one plot development to come out of this week that I really enjoyed. I have a good feeling he’ll win which will open up the door for the Hummel’s to leave the show when Kurt graduates at the end of this year. The seed was planted for Finn to take over running the auto shop should Burt head off to Washington which gives Finn a future to grab onto that doesn’t involve going to New York and the basis for some friction with Rachel. Sue in Congress just doesn’t make sense and suffering a landslide defeat to Burt would send her spiraling into another level of madness that could actually be funny.

Now what about the music? Roy’s “Being Green” was a bit sappy for my taste and seemed a little forced, but I’ll cut the kid some slack since he’s new. He really showed his range on “Take Care Of Yourself” even if the song was a bit weird. Blaine’s “Last Friday Night” was fun but crammed into the plot with a shoehorn. I did enjoy Puck’s “Waiting For A Girl Like You” but it wasn’t clear if he was singing to Beth or to Shelby. It could be both I guess. The highlight of the hour was “Candyman” by The Troubletones. Brittany, Santana and Mercedes together are a force of nature and that is just a great song.

Glee returns next week with lots of sex and more boys kissing!

‘Necessary Roughness’ hunk Mehcad Brooks cosies up to Elisabetta Canalis in Italy

It looks like George Clooney’s ex Elisabetta Canalis is moving on from father figure boyfriends to hot papi companions! The former Dancing with the Stars contestant was spotted enjoying a shopping trip with drool-inducing USA Network hunk Mehcad Brooks on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2011 in Milan.

The duo seemed to get real close during a fleeting moment when they thought the cameras weren’t watching. (Or is it actually the opposite?!)

This is truly one of the most random pairs I’ve ever seen but who could blame Elisabetta for holding on to Mehcad?! Did you see him topless during season one of Necessary Roughness?! Muy caliente!

Brooks and Canalis were also seen spending time together last week in Berlin. Lucky *itch…twice over!

Zac Efron shows off sexy mustache!

Check out Zac Efron is all grown up! Don’t get mad at me you guys but I can’t help but think of the 24-year-old back in his Disney days and find myself a little shocked at that little bit of facial hair growing above his lip!!

Mr. Efron was spotted as he made his way out of the Palm restaurant in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday, November 1st, 2011 with his shades on and a toothpick in his mouth. He rocked a blue and white horizontally striped shirt, blue jeans, and a pair of white canvas sneakers for the casual day out.

The hunky Hairspray and High School Musical star is gearing up for his animated film debut alongside Taylor Swift, Danny Devito, and Betty White in The Lorax come Spring 2012.

Are you guys loving the ‘stache?

The Walking Dead: “Save The Last One”

The Walking Dead delivered another whammy of an episode on Sunday with “Save The Last One” and delivered a twist that left me speechless. Last week we left off with Shane and Otis facing down a couple dozen walkers in an abandoned high school while Carl fights for his life back at Herschel’s farm. Oh and let’s not forget the others still camped out on the highway looking for Sophia.

This week picked up with Shane (Jon Bernthal) shaving his head in preparation for the upcoming Hottest Man on Television Contest which he obviously already won. This was one of those teaser looks ahead so you’ll be left wondering for the rest of the hour why he’s shaving his head. I find that particular plot device a bit distracting actually. I’d rather let things unfold naturally but in this case it worked. When we jump back to Shane and Otis at the school things aren’t looking especially good but they manage to at least get out of the building with the medical supplies Carl needs. The problem is they are both injured and the walkers are hot on their tail.

Back at the farm Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) worrying about their son Carl and Lori starts to question whether or not saving him is the best answer considering the current state of the world. Rick is understandably against the idea but there is a great moment where you can see him working it out in his head. Is it really better to keep him alive when there doesn’t appear to be any hope left? The fact that they don’t have a lot of time left to make the call isn’t helping much either. When Carl wakes up briefly and the only thing he wants to talk about is the deer he saw Rick finds a reason to save the kid and Lori agrees, but time is running out.

Thankfully Shane shows up with the supplies but he looks about ready to lose it and Otis isn’t with him. Shane explains he didn’t make it but doesn’t really explain why. And while the others work on Carl he wanders the house looking just a bit crazy. Once the kid is safe he heads upstairs for his shower and it’s there we learn just why Otis didn’t make it. It isn’t clear whether Shane’s decision to more or less feed Otis to the walkers so he could escape was so he could save Carl or if something else is going on. I never really did hold any ill will for Otis since he didn’t mean to shoot the kid and certainly made it clear he intended to make it right. But Shane’s transformation in this episode was startling. Jon Bernthal acted the shit out of that and it was a bit disturbing to watch. I think it is safe to say there will be Hell to pay.

There wasn’t much progress in the hunt for Sophia but Daryl continues to evolve and is darn right likeable at this point. I keep wondering if he and Andrea are going to hook up…if she manages not to kill herself that is now that she has her gun back. She did seem to consider the poor walker who had tried to kill himself a bit too long if you ask me, like she was weighing her options.

The Walking Dead sure doesn’t hold anything back. It is truly something to behold when a tv show can be intensely unpleasant and compelling at the same time. The glory of cable television I guess. I honestly have no idea what’s coming next and that’s exactly how I like it.

Sofia Vergara and Pippa Middleton keep it low key in leggings

I can’t think of two more fabulous ladies that I’d want to emulate more than Sofia Vergara and Pippa Middleton!

The Modern Family beauty was spotted on Monday, October 31st picking up cupcakes and other last minute goodies to help her celebrate Halloween in Los Angeles, California. Sofia looked flawless in a loose-fitting black blouse and a pair of black leggings. She finished her look with a pair of riding boots and a smoky gray handbag.

Miss. Middleton looked stylish-yet-comfortable while enjoying a day out in London, England on Monday, November 1st, 2011. She rocked a colorful print mini-dress, leggings, and a black cardigan which she accented with slouchy boots and matching leather accessories.

If you are looking for ways to imitate their fresh and fun look, Marshall’s/TJ Maxx has the Do’s and Don’ts on how to wear leggings this fall!
