It’s been a bumpy year for tattoo artist Kat Von D, but this hasn’t prevented her from focusing on her success. So many people might judge Kat for dating that slime bucket Jessie James after he was busted for cheating on America’s sweetheart Sandra Bullock, but how many of us have not picked the wrong dude?

Katherine Drachenberg, better known as Von D, made a special appearance at Sephora in South Beach, Miami, Florida on Thursday, December 1st, 2011 to unveil eight original prints from her “New American Beauty” art show during Art Basel 2012.
The first fifty prints of the drawings sold benefitted The Art of Elysium, a non-profit charity the reality star founded to help critically ill children.
If you were one of the first 100 guests to to purchase a print, you gained access to the VIP viewing party hosted by Kat herself. I’m so sad I didn’t head out to the beach earlier as it seems like I missed out on all the festivities!
The show will be exhibited at the beauty stores throughout 2012.
