Gabrielle Union and La La Vazquez enjoyed an ‘Evening in Vogue’

What better way to wrap up Art Basel than a breathtaking runway event featuring Missoni’s Spring 2012 collection?! After a pretty hectic week, I had the pleasure to attend the ‘Evenings in Vogue’ event hosted by Loren Ridinger and Jeffrey Kalinsky on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 at the breathtaking Ridinger Estate, Casa de Sueños in Miami Beach, Florida.

Stars in attendance included Gabrielle Union (sans boyfriend Dwayne Wade), La La Vazquez (in Missoni), Nicki and Paris Hilton, Burn Notice and The Tudors star Gabrielle Anwar, Miami Heat power forward Chris Bosh, Housewives of Miami star Lea Black, and the always beautiful Katrina Campins (in a Nicole Miller gown).

Speaking of Katrina who enjoyed a successful stint on The Apprentice and Miami Social, confessed she has some amazing things coming up so stay tuned for the details!

I had the pleasure to sit directly behind Vittorio Missoni who told me that the inspiration for the line came from watching flamencos. Indeed the delicious hues of blues and yellows on the fringed and ruffled pieces were evocative of a sensual night of dancing in Spain.

The property set the scene beautifully for an event that hosted over 600 people, and the weather couldn’t have been any better. Not to mention how amazingly humble and down-to-Earth both Vittorio and Angela Missoni were!

My only complaint? I somehow missed out on getting the fabulous gift bag!
