Their love story began after Seal fell for the German supermodel while she was pregnant with her ex’s baby. A daughter he would one day adopt as his very own! The two had three more children together and a yearly party where they celebrated their love and renewed their vows.
So it is most definitely quite shocking for everyone to see this pair who seemed very much in love, release this statement.
“While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate, Heidi and Seal said in an exclusive statement to People Magazine.
“We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.
“We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”
Rumors out about the split include everyone from Seal being jealous of Heidi’s success, or that the the marriage crumbled because they spent too much time apart, to suggestions of infidelity!
I’m kind of glad they are only “separating” and not flat out getting a divorce just yet. They do have a beautiful family to think of and maybe I can hold out a glimmer of hope that they may be able to repair whatever went wrong!
I swear, if these two can’t make it then nobody can!
