Oh no! Does this mean our beloved Oenomaus will meet the afterlife this season on Spartacus: Vengeance?
Deadline.com has announced that Peter Mensah has joined the cast of True Blood “in a recurring role as Kibwe, Chancellor for the Authority. Originally from Africa, Kibwe works toward mainstreaming under Roman’s tenure.”
If you read up on the history behind this season of Spartacus, you will learn that Oenomaus is reportedly the first of the gladiator-generals to die. So that may give us a timeline as to what season two of the Starz hit drama will be covering.
It is totally possible for Doctore to return for another season though since shooting doesn’t begin in New Zealand until the spring.
No matter what happens, I’m happy that I will get my dose of Peter Mensah on either of my favorite shows!
