If there was any human being left on the planet that would question Sofia Vergara’s level of sexiness, he/she is gone after the release of the April issue of Esquire Magazine. Shot by James White, the images show the smokin’ hot Colombiana in black lingerie, voluminous hair….and not much else!
As stunning as the photos are, my favorite thing is the article where the Modern Family beauty talks about “being with a Latina.” Even though I never lived in South America, I can either understand or relate to everything that she says.
Here are some of my favorite excerpts:
Oh, yeah. We’re very loud, Sofia said about the decibal level around Latinas. Ed O’Neill tells a funny story: When we were shooting one of the first episodes of Modern Family, our trailers were connected. So if I’m in my trailer screaming on the phone, he can hear me perfectly. I was having one of those “Oh, my God!” conversations with one of my cousins for twenty minutes. As soon as it ended, there’s a knock on the door. It’s Ed. “Sofia, are you okay?” I’m like, “What do you mean?”
“I thought maybe you were crying or having a heart attack or something.”
That is my life story…period.
Sometimes it can be bad to have too much family, the 39-year-old said about the importance of la familia to a Latina. Everybody gets involved in your problems, giving their opinion, gossiping, and making drama. But when bad things happen, they will be there to support you. Nick had a big accident a year and a half ago. He was in the hospital for a month. More people came to take care of me taking care of him than came to see him. He said, “Wow, this is amazing!”
