After spending a fun-filled few days at Hispanicize, I knew I needed to recharge enough to make it to the Garnier Fructis pool party on Sunday, April 15th, 2012. There was no way I would miss out on the adorable Mario Lopez and the DJ stylings of DJ Jessica Who– and the party did NOT disappoint!
The dimpled dude posed with his beautiful fiance Courtney Mazza, who has absolutely stunning hair, alongside Garnier’s Celebrity Stylist Marc Mena for photographs poolside at the Fountainebleau Hotel.
After the photos, Marc got to work on the hair of some lucky ladies including me! He did a fabulous job adding some beachy waves into my straight (albeit frizzy) hair! He sprayed my waves with my new favorite product– Garnier Fructis Full Control Anti-Humidity Hairspray after running an inch and half barrel curling iron through my hair and it held for the rest of the afternoon without leaving a sticky mess behind.
Fellow pool party goers enjoyed hair touch-ups from Marc and mini massages in one of the cabanas throughout the day. Well…those that were not trying to get close to (or get photographed with) former professional baseball player Sammy Sosa who was enjoying some fun in the sun in a light blue guayavera!
I also scored a fab swag bag with products including Garnier’s “Pure Clean” shampoo/conditioner combo which we will be reviewing this weekend as part of our Earth Day coverage. Their packaging is 92% biodegradable and has no silicone, paraben or dye’s to be heard of!
