Looking dapper in a grey suit, actor Brad Pitt posed for photographers at the Killing Them Softly photocall held during the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival at the Palais des Festivals on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012 in Cannes, France. Joining him for the festivities was director Andrew Dominik and co-stars Ray Liotta, Scoot McNairy, and Ben Mendelsohn.
Based on the George V. Higgins 1974 crime novel, Pitt stars as Jackie Cogan, a professional enforcer who investigates a heist that went down during a mob-protected poker game. A well-liked man named Markie (Liotta) runs the game, which is held up by a couple of rundown thugs (Scoot McNairy and Ben Mendelsohn). Unfortunately, this is the second time the game’s been taken, so the boys upstairs want answers.
Brad’s new fiance Angelina Jolie wasn’t there to show her support but you can bet she and their six kids were cheering him on from whatever part of the world they happen to be in!
Killing Them Softly hits theaters September 21st, 2012.
