With a highly anticipated series set to kick-off on the CW this fall and rumors of being considered in the big screen version of 50 Shades of Grey movie, could things get any better for Katie Cassidy? According to Lady Foot Locker, the answer is yes!
The company announced today that the 25-year-old is joining the Lady Foot Locker family where she will serve as Brand Ambassador and stylist! Cassidy worked closely with LFL stylists putting together looks that will help customers and fans achieve a more fashionably fit look.
“I’m happy to work with a brand that believes in motivating young women to be everything they can be, to be healthy both physically and mentally,” Katie said in a statement. “Being in top shape helps me to perform my best every day and I hope I can inspire my peers to do the same. I’m especially proud of bringing together two causes that I am very passionate about to make a difference in the community.”
Working with Lady Foot Locker’s VIP Program will help further Katie’s philanthropic efforts. H.E.L.P. Malawi, which she has been involved with since 2009, will benefit from the partnership though the press release doesn’t say how much.
This fall, Cassidy will star opposite hottie Stephen Amell in Arrow where she will play Dinah “Laurel” Lance. After seeing the pilot a few weeks ago, October 10th can’t get here soon enough! The series, based on DC Comics Superhero Green Arrow, belongs on your must-watch list for the fall.
Anastasia and Christian?
And for the record, I’ve been telling the world how badly I want to see Amell star as Christian Grey in the 50 Shades of Grey movie. So it’s no surprise to me that Katie is now rumored to be in the run for Anastasia Steele!
