Young Hollywood came out in droves to check out the upcoming fashion trends for Spring 2013 in the Big Apple! Michelle Trachtenberg, Katrina Bowden and Lauren Conrad were photographed at the Badgley Mischka show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week held at The Theatre Lincoln Center on Tuesday, September 11th, 2012 in New York City.
Also spotted were Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle Deleasa and gymnast Aly Raisman who won two gold medals and a bronze during the 2012 London Olympics. Raisman considers herself a big fan of Badgley Mischka, she rocked one of their dresses at the MTV Video Music Awards last week!
I loved it,” Aly told WSJ about the Spring 2013 collection. “I loved all the pastel colors and the gowns and just everything was so beautiful.
Backstage, designer Mark Badgley spoke about what inspired the collection which featured a soft palette of blush, ivory, and lilac.
“We were inspired by the 1935 film version of a ‘Midsummer’s Night Dream.’ It was black and white, and our colors are the way we thought it should be.”
I’m so sad I didn’t head to NY for Fashion Week, I think come February I will have to make the trek up north.
