Today should have been a day for celebration but unfortunately Lindsay Lohan had a rough start. The troubled 26-year-old was arrested this morning on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident. A Manhattan chef alleges that Lindsay hit him with her car then proceeded to enter The Dream Hotel in New York City though there is surveillance video that shows he might be exaggerating, according to TMZ.
But as they say, whether its good publicity or bad publicity, any publicity is good! I’m sure this must have been a selling point for the Lifetime Network when they were deciding who to hire for their upcoming original movie Liz & Dick.
The poster above shows the newly released poster in support of the movie, set to debut in November. Lindsay stars alongside Grant Bowler in this biopic that chronicles the fiery romance between Hollywood stars Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Here are the deets from Lifetime:
For nearly a quarter of a century, Taylor and Burton were Hollywood royalty and their fiery romance — often called “the marriage of the century” — was the most notorious, publicized and celebrated love affair of its day. Swarmed by paparazzi, Taylor and Burton’s love affair was played out entirely in front of the global press from the time they met on the set of the major motion picture Cleopatra, left their respective spouses, married and divorced, only to remarry and divorce once again. Despite their roller coaster romance for the public eye to see, Taylor and Burton shared an undeniable love greater than most people could have ever dreamed.
