Best Buy and Panasonic bring Latinos together

This Hispanic Heritage Month I have been amazed at how involved big corporations have become interested and involved with my culture. I was offered a unique and amazing opportunity to work with Best Buy and Panasonic on their “Mi Best Buy, Mi Cultura” campaign which generously provided me a special product that would help me celebrate my cultura.

In an effort to connect with Hispanic consumers more directly, Best Buy is recognizing the important dates and holidays in our Latino customers’ lives. The “Mi Cultura” initiative is a joint effort between Best Buy and some of its key vendor partners to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

Last week I headed over to my local Best Buy store in Miami (21035 Biscayne Boulevard, Aventura, FL 33180) where I was greeted by a sales associate who taught me about my Smart Viera Plasma 50” HDTV television. I love Best Buy because they always have knowledgeable sales associate who are a wealth of information! (see photo above where I learned about my new tv!)

With so many products on the sales floor, I have no idea how they are able to remember it all but that is the perfect representation about how passionate they are about what they sell.

The way the store is laid is also really helpful because those of us who are loyal to our favorite brands can quickly find the newest products they have available. I knew when I walked in that I was looking for Panasonic, a brand I have trusted for many years.

As a first generation American, my family depends on me when they need to buy products they don’t really understand like electronics. Since I am not available all the time, they know they can visit their local Best Buy which has over 1,000 stores in the US with Spanish-speaking sales associates in more than 300 locations. Just visit your local store and ask for a Spanish speaking associate, they are always there to help!

Stay tuned for my next post where I tell you the fabulous features of my new Panasonic tv and how its revolutionary features (hello apps!) have helped me get closer to my family and my culture.
