After all the years that kids at school made fun of me for wearing glasses, I’m so glad it’s such a hot trend now! Proud spec-wearer Christina Hendricks made a special appearance at Specsavers’ 2012 Spectacle Wearer of the Year event held on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012 in Sydney, Australia.
It’s a great initiative that encourages people to be proud and confident of wearing their glasses,” the Mad Men star said about the initiative. “Personally, I love to wear glasses and experiment with different shapes, colors and styles. I even wear specs when I’m on the red carpet! Glasses are a great fashion accessory that can either complement my outfit or be a statement piece.”
I have seen plenty of photos of the flame-haired beauty on red carpets rockin’ a pair of black framed glasses like the ones shown in this gallery. I hate it when people endorse things they don’t really use but Hendricks is the real deal!
