Sound the Trumpets: Jay Z and Beyonce release pictures of Blue Ivy Carter!

Just when you thought you’d have to wait a really long time to see photographs of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter, the couple surprise us with some precious images sure to make this a truly fabulous Friday! The internet is going crazy after the uber famous couple released images sure to melt everyones heart.

There was a huge curiosity as to what baby Blue would look like since her daddy has some pretty strong features. Many fake photos were leaked onto the internet but the official images prove what an absolute doll she is!

I must say, she looks nothing like I imagined but she is a precious angel indeed.

And if these photos of Blue aren’t enough, The Carter Family has set-up a Tumblr page (click here to check it out!) which features even more adorable pix of the tiny tot.

“We welcome you to share in our joy,” a note HelloBlueIvyCarter reads. “Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives.”

Sneak Peek: Downton Abbey ‘Episode 6′

Episode five of Downton Abbey was so full of dramatic turns that I remained on the edge of my seat for almost the entire 120 minutes!

(WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD!)

Just as things start to settle down a bit this Sunday now that the war is behind them, the love triangle between Matthew (Dan Steves), Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) and Lavinia (Zoe Boyle) is heating up. Matthew’s sweet fiance has proven herself to be a devoted partner but the attraction between he and Mary is just too strong to be ignored by everyone involved.

This of course includes Mary’s fiancee Sir Richard Carlisle (Iain Glen) who is in over his head in blackmail and all sorts of evil in order to ensure his marriage moves forward. Just how long does Richard think he can hold the scandalous death of hottie Mr. Pamuk (Theo James) over her head is beyond me.

For Mary’s sake, I hope something BIG happens to prevent the marriage from taking place. Please don’t let me down writers!

Another storyline that has me utterly stressed out is the one between poor Mr.Bates (Brendan Coyle) and his beloved Anna (Joanne Froggatt). Now that his psychotic wife Vera (guest star Maria Doyle Kennedy) is dead, you would think these two love birds would be free to live happily ever after. But Ms. Looney Toon knew exactly what she was doing when she took her own life, ensuring all the evidence would point at her husband. Lucky for Bates, Anna won’t be scared off so easy.

And in a shocking turn of events, the Spanish flu strikes the household, disrupting one match, hastening another and transforming the fortunes of all. Tune into an all new episode of Downton Abbey, Sunday, February 12th at 9pm only PBS.

Minka Kelly and Diane Von Furstenberg have heart

Minka Kelly and Diane von Furstenberg posed for photographers at the Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection 2012 Fashion Show held at Hammerstein Ballroom on February 8, 2012 in New York City.

“Showing a little heart” never goes out of style, that’s why Minka and the iconic fashion designer teamed up with Diet Coke and the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute’s (NHLBI) The Heart Truth® campaign. The goal: to raise awareness of women’s heart health educational programs. Five lucky Diet Coke fans joined these women for the star-studded Red Dress Collection Fashion Show today which kicked-off New York Fashion Week.

This year marks the fifth year Diet Coke will play an active role in The Heart Truth® campaign. Diet Coke is taking its efforts online, on packaging and on the runway to call attention to women’s heart health educational programs. Ms. Kelly joined Diet Coke on the Red Dress runway in a custom Diane von Furstenberg dress!

“I loved the creativity the winners showed in their photos, and now I can’t wait to show off Ms. von Furstenberg’s creation and raise awareness at the Red Dress Collection Fashion Show,” said Minka Kelly. “Heart health is important for women of every age, and it’s up to each of us to help spread the word to the women we love.”

The Heart Truth® supporters can also help raise funds for the cause by “donating a tweet.” For each person who re-tweets Diet Coke’s The Heart Truth® post on February 8, Diet Coke will donate $1 to the FNIH, up to $100,000.

Nicolas Cage chugs Cuban coffee on live tv!

Poor Nicolas Cage had no idea what was coming at him when he agreed to be on Despierta America this morning! The hosts of Univision’s version of the Today Show chatted with the Academy Award winning actor about his upcoming film, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and they previewed a trailer before handing him a warm cup of coffee.

You see….Nic had been up since really early in the morning and was dying for a cup of joe. Little did he know the lovely folks from Univision prepared him a warm cup of Cuban Coffee.

For those of you that have never had any…..it’s strong. Very strong. You normally only take a couple of shot sized portions but the 48-year-old decided to chug the entire contents of the mug!

Ay Dios Mio Nic….why didn’t anyone warn you?

Christian Louboutin celebrates 20th anniversary with Miami fashionistas

It was a magical day on Monday, February 6th, 2011 when world-renowned shoe designer Christian Louboutin made a special appearance at the Saks Fifth Avenue in Bal Harbour, Florida to celebrate his 20th anniversary. More than 600 local fashionistas lined up to meet Mr. Louboutin who spent nearly 2 1/2 hours signing the famous red bottom heels with a colorful array of pens!

To celebrate the anniversary, the brand launched a limited edition capsule collection with some of the most delicious pairs of shoes I have ever seen! The collection, which included handbags as well, were inspired by his work over the past 20 years and will be available in store in March.

The event had a fun Cuban vibe with lite bites and drinks from Bongo’s and a salsa band that kept everyone entertained while trying on shoes or waiting in line.

We are very pleased to host Mr. Louboutin and help him celebrate his 20th anniversary”. commented Deborah Slack, Vice President and General Manager of Saks Fifth Avenue, Bal Harbour. “We’ve had a long-standing relationship with Christian since the beginning and look forward to the next 20 years”

The celebration continued at The Dutch located inside The W Hotel where 60 honored guests feted Mr. Louboutin in a more intimate setting. I sat with my friend and fellow blogger Annie Vazquez from TheFashionPoet.com to chat about all the breathtaking pieces we’d seen at Saks while enjoying some delicious bites including Little Oyster Sandwiches, Pasta with Pesto & Sweet Peppers & Pine Nuts, Steamed Red Snapper, and Braised Short Ribs.

We wrapped up the evening chatting with the honored guest before stopping for a quick photo. ’twas a magical night indeed!

Kylie Jenner confirms sister Khloe is not a Kardashian?

Rumors about Khloe Kardashian’s paternity have been spreading for months now and it seems like sister Kylie is ready to clear the air. The 14-year-old Tweeted out the above photo of Khloe and her long-rumored real father Alex Roldan, a West Hollywood hairdresser.

“First official photo of my sister and her dad! Like father like daughter!”

She followed up that post with one claiming it was all a joke.

It was a joke everyone! Lol!

Either little Kylie decided to break the news herself for a little attention OR Mama Kardashian caught wind of her announcement and threatened to disown her!?

Regardless of the real reason, you know this is going to get the media talking about Khloe’s paternity once again. I really feel bad for her, she is really the sweetest one of the group. But you can’t deny there is more than just a passing resemblance between Khloe and Alex. Plus the fact that her middle name is Alexandra, doesn’t help her cause very much.

Rumor has it, the family is waiting to break the news via one of their many reality tv shows. So did Kylie just let the cat out of the bag too soon?

Robert Downey Jr and wife welcome son Exton Elias Downey!

BIG NEWS from Robert Downey Jr and wife Susan: they have welcomed their first baby! The adorable pair became parents to a bouncing baby boy they named Exton Elias Downey on Tuesday, February 7th, 2012 at 7:24 a.m.

“Everyone is healthy and they couldn’t be happier,” a friend of the couple told People Magazine.

Little Exton weighed in at 7 lbs., 5 oz., and is 20 inches long. This is RDJ’s second son, 18-year-old Indio became a big brother today!

As far as we can read, Exton is the name of a city in Pennsylvania. No idea why the couple picked this name out, maybe he was conceived there?!

Congrats to the happy family!
