Guess who’s back?
Meg (guest star Rachel Miner) is back and most definitely heating things up in an all new Supernatural episode.
Titled ‘Caged Heat‘, the episode has Meg kidnapping Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) and trying to force them to tell her where Crowley (guest star Mark A. Sheppard) is hiding. So, I realize I didn’t do a recap for 2×08 ‘Rose’ and for that you have my apologies. So, what happened in ‘Rose‘, anyway? Well, in a nutshell:
Elena was kidnapped. Again. (Seriously, Stefan needs to put a bell around the girl’s neck, or mark every day ending in Y on his calendar that she goes missing) and the Salvatore boys zoomed off in their car to go rescue her from two hot British undead types called — wait for it — Rose (Guest Star Lauren Cohan) and Trevor (Trent Ford).
Trevor, incidentally, reminded me a great deal of a vampiric Ethan Hawke. It’s that scruffy, unwashed bohemian look, what can I say?
We also saw Bonnie and Jeremy’s budding relationship progressing with him aiding our resident Witch in locating and then sending word to Elena about her impending rescue from the Undead Brat Pack and Caroline and Tyler bonded over their respective supernatural angst. [Read more...]
Well, there’s been talk about it for some time but the episode has finally arrived! Airing on Friday, November 12 @ 8pm, Smallville episode ‘Abandoned’ sees Teri Hatcher of Desperate Housewives fame making her mark as Ella Lane, Lois’ mother. The episode also features DC Comics characters Granny Goodness (Christine Willes) and Harriet (Lindsay Hartley) and is going to prove exciting, to say the least! [Read more...]
Before I even start my recap of the events in Masquerade, a good friend of mine I was re-watching the episode with pointed something out to me that made me laugh and wonder the same.
“Previously on…” Is there anyone still watching TVD who doesn’t know Stefan’s a vampire by now? Is this introduction still necessary? I’m going to assume its for the new comers to the show who don’t realize the Salvatore brothers are Vitamin D challenged and prefer red to any other color.
