TAYLOR SWIFT is making the move to the small screen by appearing on an upcoming episode of the hit CBS drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, now starring Laurence Fishburne. In the episode, SWIFT plays teenager HALEY JONES, whose family owns a seedy LAS VEGAS motel. Over the course of a year, HALEY goes through a series of changes with tragic consequences. Will this be just a sampling of her other talents, or possibly the beginning of a big career move?
I would have to assume that Andy Samberg’s chiropractor bills must astronomical from carrying Saturday Night Live on his back, although it’s no surprise to me he’s already branched out from SNL (Hot Rod) and is going to do so once again very shortly. E! Entertainment Television has given an eight episode order to Candy Girls (working title), a docu-soap reality-based joke-of-a-show that will follow the lives of women trying to make it as “eye candy” in A-list hip hop music videos.
The series will also highlight a number of Danielle’s clients trying to make it big, and others who have already found success in the field.
“In order to reach the career pinnacle of appearing in “A-list” music videos and gain access to the world of superstars, private jets and exclusive parties, you need to be able to play the game as well as you look,” said the network, describing the series. “Musicians need to live their image and that includes surrounding themselves with the beautiful women who are so often featured in their videos at all times. However, like runway models, these women know they need to get in early and make their money fast before time takes away the looks that make them so successful.”
Let me guess, they’ll all live in one house with no electronics and lots of alcohol! Man, this has Emmy written all over it! Candy Girls will air new episodes Sunday nights at 10:30 p.m., following Keeping up with Spanking it to The Kardashians.

RASCAL FLATTS not only accepted the honor of Favorite Group at the PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS (PCA), they also announced a contest to design the cover of their upcoming CD.
The contest, a partnership with the PCA, allows fans to design artwork and submit it to www.pcaVOTE.com until JANUARY 22nd. The band will narrow down the selections and present their top picks to the fans, who will then vote on the winner.
