U2 & Jay Z: Legendary Duo in Berlin

U2 and Jay-Z – Are there any two bigger legends in their respected genres right now?

Earlier today, they teamed up for an honestly, amazing performance of U2’s version of “Sunday Bloody Sunday” at the MTV Europe Awards show in Berlin. Watching the video on youtube, I was literally overcome with goose bumps.

The moment that Bono introduced Jay as the mayor of New York, yeah, I felt a chill. Can you tell Jay-Z is one of my favorite artists? I still must say however, that Jay’s performance of “Lost” with Coldplay, tops this as one of my all time favorite rock/hip-hop duets.

Nonetheless, Bono and Jay-Z are as artistically amazing as any performer and put on as intriguing a show as anyone in the business. I have no doubt that those in attendance will remember the duet for a lifetime. Simply Epic.

Could YOU be the next Jordan Knight?

Jordan Knight, has recently taken cue from American Idol creator, Simon Fuller and Bad Boy owner, Diddy, who now has his show Starmaker. Knight has decided to host his own talent search, “Jordan Idol.” He is looking for that special individual who has “IT.”

“You don’t really look for a certain something. Well, actually, you do look a certain something,” he laughed. “They have to have it. They don’t have to have the perfect look, the perfect voice, the perfect moves — they just have to have something special. It’s hard to come by. I’m looking for it. It, are you out there?”

Knight references how he was found from obscurity and given the rare opportunity to showcase his talents, and this is the inspiration behind his search.

Spotted: Derek Jeter,Hideki Matsui and Andy Pettitte

Derek Jeter, Andy Pettitte and Hideki Matsui made their way into The Late Show with David Letterman today.

The Yankees continued to solidify themselves as the greatest franchise in sports history, last night, by winning their 27th World Series title.

Jumping out to the 1-0 series lead, the odds were in Philly’s favor for them to take home their back-to-back World Series trophy, but Jeter, Matsui, and company had other plans in mind. Being basically over matched from game 2 on, we witnessed the dominance of the Yankees pitching staff, as well as the resurgence of the Yankee bats.

Lil Kim is scandalous!

Earlier today, Lil Kim was seen strutting her stuff for the cameras at the 2009 MTV Europe Awards held at the O2 Arena in Berlin, Germany.

The ever so scandalous, Lil Kim, is at it again. Notably known for her risqué outfits, accenting her raw sex appeal, she did not disappoint at her latest appearance. Showing up today at the MTV Europe Awards in her barely there, leather shorts and high heels that some adult film stars might even shy away from, she has never been one to leave the curiosities of her body up to the imagination.

John Mayer shows Sydney some love

John Mayer signs autographs for fans as he arrives for sound check at Paddington Chapel in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday.

Just as he did in 2006 for his third album, “Continuum,” John Mayer decided to pack up and head to the land down under in order to promote his latest project “Battle Studies.” This fourth studio album, which is co-produced by Mayer himself, as well as drummer Steve Jordan.

Katy Perry, Joss Stone, and Pete Wentz: Ready for the Berlin Ball!

While posing for multiple pictures and chatting with the press may come as a mundane ritual to some celebrities, Katy Perry, Pete Wentz, and Joss Stone all seemed to be in great spirits as they gear up for the upcoming show. The trio attended the The MTV Europe Music Awards 2009 press conference at the O2 Arena, in Berlin, Germany earlier today.

The 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards will be taking place tomorrow night, November 5, in Berlin, Germany. The talented trio of Perry, Wentz, and Stone will be in charge of the three part hosting duties. Katy Perry, host of the award show, is nominated for best video, as well as best female. Along side Miss Perry is Pete Wentz who will be serving as digital host, and Joss Stone, who will man the pre show red carpet.
