Well, I enjoyed our equestrian-related episode last night! It had a light-hearted feel to it that was much appreciated after the heavy (yet brilliant) start the season has had. It begins with the CBI guys, including Patrick Jane along with Agents Rigsby and Cho, working the night shift in the office. Agent Rigsby (Owain Yeoman) is busying himself with an attempt to get a playing card to land in the trash can. This look of utter annoyance on Cho’s (Tim Kang) face as Risgby finally “scored” just made me laugh. Cho couldn’t hide his annoyance and audibly expressed, [Read more...]
PROMO: Hey Mentalist fans, Walter Mashburn returns!
We wanted him back, and now we’ve got him! Those of us who are serious, die-hard fans of The Mentalist have been huddled in our little geeky circles remarking on our wish to get a return visit from a much loved character featured last season by the name of Walter Mashburn (Currie Graham). A “Twitter friend” and I even contemplated the legalities of designing a “We  Mashburn” t-shirt to put on the market for other die-hard fans. (I sense you judging me) Well, Graham will be making his return as Mashburn in Episode 7 which is entitled “Red Hot”!! Now, for those who find themselves asking, [Read more...]
PREVIEW: The Big C – Episode 1.10

We’ve got some goodies from Showtime in the form of previews of next week’s episode of The Big C! Entitled “Divine Intervention”, the new episode is giving us a peek at Cathy’s (Laura Linney) emotional and spiritual issues.
The first video features the return of Cathy’s hilarious friend Rebecca (played wonderfully by Cynthia Nixon) who is going toe-to-toe with Cathy about the state of their friendship, or the lack thereof. As a reminder, one of the [Read more...]
REVIEW: The Big C -1.09 ‘The Ecstasy and the Agony’
I think it’s appropriate to go ahead and get my loudly expressed “OMG!!” out of the way. Here goes: OMG!! That’s much better. Last night’s episode contained more tense moments than any episode that we’ve seen thus far!
It starts off with Cathy (Laura Linney) teaching Adam to drive. This is always a nightmare for any parent, but Cathy’s case is an exception. Her son is actually only 14, but she’s jumping the gun for good reason. After all, she [Read more...]
REVIEW: The Mentalist – Episode 3.04 “Red Carpet Treatment”
This is amazing. At this point during seasons 1 and 2 of The Mentalist, I already found myself becoming very critical of many of the episodes. The things that initially kept me glued to the set during the previous seasons were no longer present and I had a hard time retaining a huge interest. I hate to sound like a broken record, but clearly the first two seasons of the show were very good practice runs. This current season just continues to kick butt in a major way.
Episode 4 aired last night and was entitled “Red Carpet Treatment”. Kudos, writers, for the consistency from episode to episode. After all of the brokenness and guilt that we [Read more...]

Simon and his family have always [Read more...]
25th Anniversary of Back To The Future honored at ‘Scream 2010′
It’s highly unlikely that you will ever meet anyone that is as obsessed with the movie Back To The Future as I am! I have watched all three parts of the trilogy hundreds of times and know the entire script by heart. I have spent countless hours contemplating the complexity and the plausibility of various scenes of the movie with friends. In March of 2007, I stood [Read more...]
