Maroon 5, Calvin Harris and Flo Rida will perform at Ultimate Pool Party in Miami

Remember that amazing concert that took place at the MGM Grand last year that featured performances by Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Jay Z and a gaggle of other superstars? Well, IHEARTRADIO and the Fontainebleau Miami Beach are announcing a partnership that will bring the Ultimate Pool Party to South Beach!!

The two-day musical weekend will take place from June 29-30, 2012, as part of the BleauLive concert series. The weekend will feature live performances at the iconic Fontainebleau by popular recording artists Maroon 5, Flo Rida, Gym Class Heroes and Calvin Harris, as well as a special guest appearance by Enrique Iglesias.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Anna Paquin step out for College Television Awards

Nothing could have pleased me more than to be on the red carpet at the College Television Awards on Saturday, March 31st. Not only was I proud of my fellow students for being honored for their achievements in video, digital and film, but I also celebrated my birthday alongside some of my favorite stars from the small screen.

The College Television Awards is a national competition recognizing excellence in college student-produced video, digital and film work. Hundreds of students from across the country entered into the contest and this years winners were feted at a black-tie gala held at the Renaissance Hotel Hollywood in Hollywood, California. The students were presented their awards by celebrity presenters in various categories such as animation, comedy, drama, and more.

Serving as hosts for the evening were Franklin & Bash stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer. Amongst this years presenters and guests were Anna Paquin from True Blood, Paul Blackthorne from The River, Eliza Coupe and Zachary Knighton from ABC’s Happy Endings, British beauty Cat Deeley, Tony Hale (Buster! from Arrested Development), and Lamorne Morris from New Girl.

My personal favorites of the night were Lamorne Morris, who claimed co-star Kali Hawk wanted to sleep with him, and Zack Morris, who didn’t hang around for too long because he had to attend to his hosting duties. All the stars offered the young and hungry students some nuggets of knowledge about the industry to help them out with their future careers.

“Stay true to yourselves,” Tony Hale told students about being an up-and-comer in the entertainment industry. “This business sometimes wants to put you in a mold and what’s setting you apart is yourself and what you bring to the table.”

So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deely added:

Work hard. I don’t think there are any shortcuts. I think its about working hard, preparing, and then enjoying the moment. Be in the moment.

Amongst the nights first place winners were Nicholas Dixon and Bree Evans in the comedy category for “Mr. Bellpond”, Julio Ramos in the drama category for “Carrerita, Doctor! A Doctor’s Job” and Dawn Schwartz in the documentary category for “World on a String.”

I’m looking forward to seeing this years winners become next years directors, producers, writers, and actors.

AccidentalSexiness.com teams with Nivea to celebrate Perez Hilton’s Birthday!

As the Latina Brand Ambassador for Nivea, I knew I would get to do some pretty big things to help spread the word about their Million Moments of Touch campaign and last weekend I headed to Los Angeles, California to do just that! Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton celebrated his birthday on Saturday, March 24th, 2012 at the Siren Studios and I had the pleasure to meet some pretty fabulous people including Tom Felton, Bella Thorne, JoJo, Bridget Marquardt, and Howie Dorough of The Backstreet Boys who all came by Nivea’s Kissing Booth to pose for photos.

Speaking of The Backstreet Boys, the guys were all in the house for a special performance that included some of their classic hits like I Want It That Way and Everybody. Throughout the night, guests were treated to some pretty fantastic singers including The Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham, Glee star Amber Riley, and one of my favorites– Taylor Dayne!

Back at the kissing booth, more than 300 party goers took home Nivea lip products including the super popular “A Kiss of Vitamin Swirl” for women and “Nivea for Men Replenishing Lip Balm” for the boys.

I was exhausted by the end of the night when Far East Movement took the stage and I couldn’t dance one more song! These satin red heels from Nina Shoes I wore were beautiful but a big of a challenge after wearing them for six hours straight.

It’s a good thing the valet had my Kia Optima Turbo waiting for me at the door so that I could drive home and take in the nights excitement.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and John Cena ready to battle it out at Wrestlemania

It felt like it was hotter than 100 degrees at the Eden Roc hotel this afternoon, but nothing could have prepared me for the heat brought on by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson when he made his arrival to the WWE Press Conference kicking-off Wrestlemania events in Miami.

He was welcomed onto the stage with a roar of excitement from media attendees and a few lucky fans who scored seats at the press conference alongside myself and AccidentalSexiness’s wrestling correspondent Scott Fishman. The Rock is quite certain he can take down Cena, and I of course have no doubt, but Cena has been preparing for this match for a long time and won’t go down that easy.

I had the chance to talk to both men and as much as I’d love to say that I am Team Rock all the way, I can’t help but have some love for the man who is dedicating so much of his time to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. While in Miami, Cena is hosting the Make-A-Wish Pizza Party for more than 40 wish kids and their families from the United States, Canada, and Ireland at Jungle Island.

This isn’t his first time making wishes come true, according to his intro at the press conference, this is his 300th. The man definitely deserves some admiration, even from a die-hard Dwayne Johnson fan such as myself.

Another big match up is the women’s tag team match between WWE Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix and Latina beauty Eve against television host Maria Menounos and her partner Kelly Kelly. Beth was making fun of Maria after hearing she injured a few ribs during her current stint on Dancing with the Stars. While that is a bit of an advantage, I have no doubt Beth and Eve have the power to bring down Maria and Kelly Kelly.

I briefly chatted with David Otunga who was busy keeping WWE fans updated on the press conference via Twitter. He told me his fiance Jennifer Hudson would not be able to attend Wrestlemania on Sunday due to work commitments but to make up for it, she flew in 15 of his family members to be there for him!

Cheering extra loud on the big day? Their son David Otunga Jr! I bet the beautiful Ms. Hudson will be cheering from wherever she is for the extremely handsome and gracious Otunga.

Rihanna cuddles up to Taylor Kitsch at Battleship photocall

Showing off her blond locks, Barbadian beauty Rihanna stepped out for a special photocall for her latest film, Battleship at The Corinthia Hotel on March 28, 2012 in London, England. Joining her at the event was director Peter Berg and co-stars Taylor Kitsch and Brooklyn Decker who looked gorgeous in a Stella McCarney dress.

Missing from the group was the biggest hunk of all, Alexander Skarsgard who plays the role of Stone Hopper in the movie based on the classic children’s game by Hasbro.

Our girl RiRi is making her big screen debut in the action thriller that follows an international naval fleet at Pearl Harbor who engage in a dynamic and intense battle against an alien species known as “The Regents”. The aliens come to planet Earth on a mission to build a power source in the ocean. Upon their visit, they come in contact with the naval fleet. The film is also purported to show both sides of the story, from the aliens’ perspective, as well as the humans’ so the audience knows exactly where the opponent’s ships are.

Battleship hits theaters on May 18th, 2012.

Meet Designer Yigal Azrouel at Saks Bal Harbour tomorrow!

Joe Jonas kicks off Spring Break with Chanel Iman and Elsa Hosk [video]

There is no other city in the world better to kick-off Spring Break than Miami! And if you don’t believe me, just ask hot boy Joe Jonas! The 22-year-old served as host of Victoria’s Secret Pink Nation Spring Break Pool Party held at the beautiful Shelbourne Hotel last week alongside models Chanel Iman and Elsa Hosk.

In the last month or so, Joe has been spotted at many South Beach hotspots including Bâoli-Vita and The Raleigh. As a huge fan of Miami, it was perfect that VS picked him to get the party started!

“I love Miami!,” Joe exclaimed. “I’ve been here every other week for the past two months and thats just me because I love the people, the culture, the beaches are amazing. And now that it’s spring it’s so beautiful out and I think this is perfect for people to fly down and enjoy Miami.

There is so much here to do and to have fun.”

Chanel and Elsa were equally excited to soak some rays while meeting with some of their biggest fans who lined up for hours to get a spot by the pool. The decorations were full of neon hot pink, light purple, ocean blue, lime and hot orange decorations including inner tubes, towels and sunglasses for guests to take home.
