Coffee Break: Nescafé Memento Review!

Nescafe Memento_1

When we were first approached to do a review on coffee I was going to turn it down because it doesn’t really fit in with the theme of this website. Then I thought about it and figured, while people are sitting and perusing the articles they are probably enjoying a nice cup of coffee at various times of the day so, why not?!

It also helped that the product, Nescafé Memento, comes in three delicious flavors including Caramel Latte, creamy Cappuccino and rich chocolate Mocha. They come in convenient little packets and are made with real coffee, milk and sugar. This made it super convenient for me to stash in my purse and have a nice treat anytime I was in the mood!

Now before you wonder how coffee from a little packet can taste so good, I will assure you that the finished product tasted like it came from my local coffee shop but without the inflated prices. Oh, and Did I forget to mention that each packet will only set you back 100 calories? So not only are you keeping more of your money, but Nescafé Memento will not deter you from losing those pesky holiday pounds.

If you act quickly, you can also nab a free sample (while supplies last) via this link. You’re welcome!

Best Buy and Panasonic celebrate “Mi Cultura”

For Hispanic Heritage Month, I was offered a unique opportunity to work with Best Buy and Panasonic “Mi Best Buy, Mi Cultura” campaign which generously provided me a special product that would help me celebrate my cultura. On the surface, you might wonder how a television can help me become closer to my culture, but when you realize how much technology has evolved, the points will become obvious.

My new Smart Viera Plasma 50” HDTV television has many great features including my #1, the VIERA Connect function which allows you to add applications to your television. One of the apps available was Skype! I have family scattered throughout the world including Peru, Germany, and Spain and having that special face-to-face time is so important. Yes, you can accomplish this on a computer but because of the size of the television, I can have my mother, brother and cousins over to enjoy the experience on a much bigger level.

This is especially great during holidays and birthdays!

Speaking of holidays, most Hispanic families look forward to time off to spend together. One of our favorite pastimes is watching movies together, and with my old 27″ inch tube television set you can imagine the experience wasn’t as comfortable as it is now! My family can spread out in front of the television and enjoy our favorite films with some of the highest technology available on the market.

I have always been a big fan of gadgets. Armed with my Smart Viera Plasma 50” HDTV television, I can plug in my video camera or the media card from my point-and-shoot and everyone in the room is able to watch comfortably. My brother recently went on a trip to visit our family in Peru and it was so nice to be able to have the family watch the footage together.
