I cry a little tear every Monday knowing that Jack Bauer isn’t waiting for me at home ready to cut a bitch’s pinky toe off if they “DON’T GIVE HIM THE DAMN NAME!”. Imagine my delight to see that my #1 favorite 24 villain Sherry Palmer herself Penny Johnson Jerald has found a new home on ABC’s hit Castle! You go Sherry!
I don’t watch Castle but I think I might start. Does Nathan Fillion know what he’s getting into here? This woman will induce a heart attack and hide your medication while she watches you die! It also worth noting that where 24 is concerned I sometimes find it hard to separate fiction from reality. Penny WAS the First Lady in my world. Don’t judge. Nevermind that on my other favorite show The West Wing there was an entirely different First Lady. Mad props to Stockard Channing yo. Remind me to tell you the story about the time I got confused watching a real White House press conference on CNN.
On Castle Jerald will play Captain Victoria Gates, AKA “Iron Gates”, a former internal affairs investigator with an attitude. Maybe she can beat the writer’s block out of Richard Castle. I know she’d enjoy trying.
