The red carpet during the 82nd Annual Academy Awards became extremely hot when British heart throb Colin Firth appeared! The star of A Single Man is nominated for Performance by an actor in a leading role. He is facing some pretty tough competition including veteran actor Morgan Freeman for his performance in Invictus, Jeremy Renner for his role in The Hurt Locker, George Clooney for Up In the Air, and Jeff Bridges for his already award winning role in Crazy Heart.
I really hope Colin takes this one home!

You know Gerard Butler is going to set the bar really high at such a major event. The Scottish cupcake looked delicious in his tuxedo and his freshly painted tan at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards held at the Kodak Theatre on March 7, 2010 in Hollywood, California.
Even though he has been rumored to be dating his co-star in the upcoming romantic comedy, Jennifer Aniston, he opted to hush everyone up by attending the awards by himself. I wish he had shown up with Lola!

Australia’s vote for Sexiest Man Alive, Sam Worthington attended the 82nd Annual Academy Awards held at the Kodak Theatre on March 7, 2010 in Hollywood, California. I’m sure all you Sam fans were hoping he would be a single man but it seems one beautiful woman has stolen his heart!
The beauty on his arm is his girlfriend Natalie Mark.
Worthington is in attendance in support of his latest movie, Avatar which garnered many nominations.
