America Ferrera: American chica in London!

Ugly Betty alum America Ferrera was spotted signing autographs and greeting her fans in London, England on Thursday, November 10th, 2011. The 27-year-old is currently starring as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago at the famed Garrick Theatre in the famed West End.

“This is a little bit like boot camp for me,” America said about rehearsing 6 or 7 hours a day during an interview with This is London. “I would say there’s a part that aches every day, a different part every day.”

For any of you who happen to live in London (or have the pleasure of be visiting!), make sure you catch our girl America in this fabulous production! The show runs Monday-Saturday until January 26th.

America Ferrera enjoys date night with hubby at Adele concert

Newlywed’s America Ferrera and Ryan Piers Williams enjoyed a night out at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, California to watch British songstress Adele perform on Monday, August 15th, 2011.

This was a nice break for the 27-year-old Latina who has been keeping busy shooting her new movie, End of Watch opposite Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Peña, and Anna Kendrick. America plays the role of a female cop called Orozco in this crime drama that follows the friendship of two cops (Gyllenhaal and Peña) over the years.

The Ugly Betty alum married her longtime love Ryan on June 27th, 2011 after being engaged for one year. They met when Williams cast Ferrera in his student film at the University of Southern California.
