True Blood star Anna Paquin is Bisexual

If there was ever a reason to open up about your sexuality, charity would be one of them. True Blood star Anna Paquin confessed, “I am Bisexual” in a public service announcement for the organization We Give a Damn.

The project was started by Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors Fund, fighting for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality. The website states, “The Give a Damn Campaign is for everybody who cares about gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality. But, it’s especially for all you straight people out there!”

Paquin, who is engaged to her True Blood costar Stephen Moyers, goes on to say, “One hate crime is committed approximately every hour of every day in this country.”

15 Seconds of True torture from True Blood

Good morning fangbangers and fellow fangbanger wanna be’s! HBO has released a production clip, albeit the tiniest clip EVER of True Blood‘s third season which can’t arrive soon enough!

In this preview all I could see is the sexiest vampire in existence, Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) on the ground with a tattoo’ed dude with long hair standing over him then he grips onto his shoulders. Eric screams…..”Who sent you?”

We see the image of a Merlotte’s waitress, who looks like Sookie Stackhouse, ready to shoot at Eric assailant. Protect our man girl!!

Season 3 of True Blood premieres on Sunday, June 13 at 9 p.m.

True Blood Season 3 gets release date!!!!

I was just talking with my good friend Etlin this morning about our True Blood withdrawal and we wondered when HBO would stop torturing us and decide to give us an exact date as to when the show will return.

As I refreshed my news feed I saw this shiny new story from MTV giving us a solid date for the return. Mark your calendars ladies and gents, Sunday, June 13, 2010, season three of the hit HBO series True Blood will premiere!!

Stephen Moyer & Anna Paquin Make a Wish

Super adorable on/off screen couple Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin had some for for a good cause. They spent the day at the Santa Monica Pier for The Make-A-Wish Foundation in Santa Monica, California on March 14th, 2010.

Just looking at these two you can tell how much fun they have together.

For some reason, I imagined Moyer to be a much more serious person than he really is. Maybe I should blame his True Blood character Bill Compton for that. When I’ve watched his interviews and see him in pictures I get to see his fun side.

As a small example let me share with you an excerpt from a recent interview where Stephen talks about when he has to think about while filming sex scenes with Anna.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have a date night

Our favorite on screen and off screen couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer enjoyed a night out in West Hollywood. The True Blood co-stars dined at celebrity hot spot BOA Steakhouse.

This week new pictures emerged of Anna shooting scenes from HBO’s steamy vampire drama. I’m hoping in the weeks ahead we get pictures of some of our other other favorite co-stars. (ALEXANDER SKARSGAARD!!!)

The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films has announced its official nominations for the 36th Annual Saturn Awards. True Blood earned three nominations including Best Actor on Television for Moyers and Best Actress on Television for Anna Paquin and Best Supporting Actor on Television for Skarsgaard.

The 36th Annual Saturn Awards will be presented on June 24th in Burbank, California.

On the True Blood Set: Anna Paquin

Am I the only one currently suffering without True Blood on the air? Seeing these new pictures of Anna Paquin filming a scene for the HBO hit at the Trianon Apartments in Hollywood, California today. Anna was rockin’ a short denim mini skirt, a lace tank top with a cami below, and some trendy sunglasses.

I know many of you have read the books and know what is coming up next season but for the first time I want to wait to read until that particular season is over. I’m hoping to see more of my two favorite characters, Eric and Lafayette!

Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer heart Radiohead

Anna Paquin and her True Blood co-star and fiance, Stephen Moyer, happily walk hand in hand after the Radiohead benefit concert in Los Angeles, CA on January 24, 2010.

On Sunday night, Radiohead performed an impromptu show at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles to benefit earthquake relief in Haiti. The gig was just announced last Thursday, and the 1,000 or so tickets to the intimate event were auctioned off via the band’s Web site. According to the Los Angeles Times, the closing minimum bid was $475. At the end of the night, the band donated all of the proceeds — $572,754 in all — to Oxfam International.

The band premiered a new song entitled, Lotus Flower during last nights show.
