It’s just not the Jessica you are thinking!
The lead singer of The Smashing Pumpkins proudly held hands with his new girlfriend Jessica Origliasso, from the Australian band The Veronica’s as they departed from the Trademark Hotel in Kings Cross in Sydney on Monday, April 5th.
Walking with them was Jessica’s bandmate and sister Lisa Origliasso.

Billy Corgan’s Gift

In a day and age where CD sales are at an all time low and illegal downloads are skyrocketing, music artists are desperately searching for the answer as to how they can make any significant profit from their albums. Well, most artists I should say. Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan has other plans, however. He vows to release their upcoming LP “Teargarden by Kaleidyscope” for no cost.
The debut track “Song for A Son” was unveiled today, and can be downloaded for free at Spinner.com. The entire work will have taken three years to come together and will contain a 44 song track list. Three years worth of audio mastery just given away to the public. Now that is the true essence and beauty of the art.

Need a job? Smashing Pumpkins is looking for a drummer!

The alt rock band, which currently consists of … frontman Billy Corgan, is on the hunt for a new drummer in the wake of original member Jimmy Chamberlin’s departure earlier this month.
And they’re doing it open casting call style!
Wannabe Pumpkins are being invited to auditions on April 10 in Los Angeles, Corgan announced on the band’s Web site on Monday.
ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz- huh? Oh. When they’re playing your songs on radio stations my parents listen to, and you haven’t had a hit in the past 10 years, you’re done. SP certainly doesn’t have the repetoire for any kind of a decent reunion tour either, thank god.
