This book says: You outta be an A**hole!!!

You’re an A**hole!!!

Probably not something you want to hear someone tell you but according to Steven B. Green, Dennis LaValle, and Chris Illuminati, authors of “a** hole ol o gy,” it is a compliment.

“Asshole (n.): A person who gets what he wants when he wants without acting like a douche bag.”

So according to their definition, being an asshole is something we should aspire to be. They are the ones who get the promotions, get the girls, and basically get whatever they want. The Charmed actress visited with The Today Show this morning to share why baseball has been such a major part of her life.

She also chats about her current engagement to David Bugliari.

Harry Potter’s first edition makes lots of $$$ magically appear!

hpotter01

A softcover copy of the first Harry Potter book has sold for just over $19,000, according to a Dallas auction house.

“Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” was one of only 200 copies from the first printing issued with illustrated wrappers by London publisher Bloomsbury.

@ NY Daily News

If you haven’t read the Harry Potter books, as cliche’ as it sounds, they are leaps and bounds better than the movies although they are great movies nonetheless. What’s ironic is that I’ve been toying with the idea of reading the books once more. It doesn’t surprise me that this book was able to generate such a high bid at auction, being that this series of books will no doubt surpass generations of readers much like The Lord of the Rings series has trancended generations as well.

The winning bid of $19,120 was nearly double the previous record for a softcover Harry Potter book, Heritage Auction Galleries says.
