Scotties’ are going crazy over Brad Pitt!

Mr. Pitt was spotted filming an intense scene running through the chaotic crowd aiding to a young girl on the set of his latest action/zombie flick, World War Z. The 47-year-old hottie plays the part of Gerry Lane, a worker at the United Nations post-war commission who collects stories and experiences from survivors of zombie attacks.

The city’s George Square has been transformed into downtown Philadelphia for the film, and is practically unrecognizable with US traffic signs, Philly police cars and SWAT vans.

Angelina Jolie and the gang are also in Scotland with Brad; staying in a 16^th century manor house on the Carnell Estate in Ayrshire complete with room for up to 18 guests and a 10-acre garden while Brad is filming. Angie has been spotted with their six children enjoying the Scottish city.

It doesn’t matter what country the actor is filming in, people are mesmerized by this gorgeous man. As he continues to age, no one will look at him in a different light because he possesses this magic aura that constantly surrounds him. What is it? I can’t put my finger on it, but the air is just clearer around Brad and his killer eyes, even if zombies are thrown into the mix!

It’s another busy day on the set of World War Z in Glasgow, Scotland on Thursday, August 18th, 2011.  Looking cool in a navy blue, long sleeve shirt, the forty seven year old sipped on coffee in between scenes taking place in the merchant area of the city.

This section has been transformed to look like the city of Philadelphia, where the movie actually takes place. I imagine it would have been much more difficult to close off the busy streets of Pennsylvania for a zombie invasion!

Brad’s partner Angelina Jolie was spotted in the gardens of Carnell Estate, the home the couple rented for their family while filming continues in Glasgow.  She gently carried one of the twins in her arms while a nanny assisted with their other five children.

The post apocalyptic  film is based on Max Brooks’ 2006 novel World War Z: An Oral History Of The Zombie War, which is set in Philly in the aftermath of a war between humans and zombies.

World War Z is set to hit theaters in 2012.

After a weekend with Angelina Jolie and their children in London, Brad Pitt was back to work on his latest film World War Z in Glagow, Scotland on Wednesday, August 17th, 2011. Say what you will about Pitt’s private life but when it comes to movies, he is one of the top.

In the three photos in this set, you can see the 47-year-old deep into a scene of the upcoming post-apocalyptic horror film based on the novel of the same name by Max Brooks. Brad stars as Gerry Lane, a UN employee who scours the world in a race against time to stop a worldwide zombie epidemic, referred to as World War Z.

I’m kind of worried that zombies are starting to take over Hollywood and that they will overshadow vampires. I wouldn’t be so against it if I wasn’t so deathly afraid of those brain chomping monsters!

Even though he should have spent Father’s Day with his six children, Brad Pitt found himself working on a new movie far away from home. These shots were taken of Brad while filming scenes for his newest project “World War Z” in Malta on Sunday, June 19th, 2011.

The action/drama stars forty seven year old Pitt plays the role of Max Brooks, a man who scours the world collecting the stories and experiences of humans ten years after they were victorious against a world wide Zombie epidemic.

For those of you who are all about the brain munching zombies will absolutely LOVE this! As for me, I am deathly afraid of them and would love to keep the few brain cells I have left thankyouverymuch!

The adaptation of the Max Brooks novel also stars The Killing star Mireille Enos, Lost hunk Matthew Fox, and Ed Harris.
