Britney Spears is engaged ya’ll

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are looking to take their relationship to the next level! Trawick, who celebrated his 40th birthday this week, proposed to the 30-year-old pop star after a romantic dinner.

Here is the scoop according to US Magazine:

“This is something they’ve both wanted for a long time,” the source explains to Us. “It’s a way to cement their family. They’re both extremely happy and can’t wait to become man and wife.” The spouses-to-be plan to celebrate their engagement Friday night at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

Brit Brit was so happy over the engagement, she took the Twitter this morning to tease fans about the big news!

“OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo”

This will be Britney’s second marriage, she has two boys with ex-husband Kevin Federline. No word yet if the happy couple plans to have fried chicken to celebrate the nuptials this go-around.

Britney Spears sparkles on cover of Glamour UK

On the heels of her MTV Video Music Awards tribute, Britney Spears is featured on the cover of Glamour UK for October 2011. She looks ultra glam in a blue and silver Matthew Williamson dress with some fun feathering feature on the lower half.

With only three months until her 30th birthday, the mommy-of-two told the magazine she is very excited to celebrate the landmark occasion.

“I think the older you get, the wiser you get. I can’t wait,” The 29-year-old said. “I’m really excited and I am definitely going to celebrate and do something spectacular.”

Even though Spears won’t be in the U.S. on December 2nd, she plans to celebrate in her own way.

“I’m going to be in South America so I’ll have to do something pretty fun. A carnival of Britney? I don’t think I’ll be doing that! It’ll be something a little more low-key,” she added.

Pop Princess Britney Spears is causing rumors to emerge that she is in Mexico to wed her talent agent/boyfriend Jason Trawick. The couple were spotted at a resort in Zihuatanejo with her two young sons Sean Preston and Jayden James yesterday.

With the conservatorship in full effect, I highly doubt Papa Spears would let Brit Brit make the same mistake twice.

The Spears Family is enjoying some sun and fun while vacationing in Miami!

Britney Spears was spotted in a purple bikini earlier today alongside her two boys Sean Preston and Jayden James. While her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears showed off her post baby bod in a white bikini with her daughter Maddie. Not too far behind were Brit and Jamie’s parents, Lynne and Jamie Spears.

The family headed inside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel after the clouds got a bit gray around 2pm.
