How to Make it in America scores second season

America’s favorite hustlers are coming back for another action packed season! Bryan Greenberg, Victor Rasuk, and Luis Guzman’s HBO dramedy How to Make it in America is coming back for a second season according to Deadline.

I’m so glad we are gonna be getting more of the hijinx and hilarity we came to love in this freshman hit. Plus the eleven episodes we got to begin with were definitely not enough. I kinda felt like i was left hanging after the season finale.

The renewal comes on the heels of HBO’s early pickup of fellow freshman Treme.

Lake Bell and Bryan Greenberg ring the NYSE bell!

The cast of How To Make It In America rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on February 8, 2010 in New York City to promote the eight-episode, first season of the comedy series premiering on HBO. In honor of the occasion, Bryan Greenberg (“Prime,” HBO’s “Unscripted”), Victor Rasuk (“Lords of Dogtown,” “Raising Victor Vargas”) and Lake Bell (“Boston Legal,” “What Happens in Vegas”) were in attendance.

Ever since I saw Bryan Greenberg in Prime I was left wanting more! His role in Bride Wars was so small that I’m glad he is going to be a lead in the upcoming HBO comedy, How to Make it in America.

The show is centered around three ambitious 20-somethings who hustle their way through New York City determined to achieve the “American Dream.” The cast they have is in place is A-MA-ZING! It includes rappper Kid Cudi, Lake Bell, Victor Rasuk, and Shannyn Sossaman. Cudi was interviewed during the summer and spoke about his new character, Domingo Dean.

“It was important to me early on to branch away from music and actually do something outside my comfort zone. When we were developing my character with the writers, I was telling them, ‘Man, I don’t want to be anything that has to do with music,’ just because that’s not really acting.”

The show is Executive Produced by Mark Wahlberg’s production company, Closest to the Hole (also responsible for Entourage) and Julian Farino who has a few episodes of Sex and the City, The Office, and Entourage under his belt will be directing.

Greenberg is GORGEOUS and I am very excited to see this show!
