Everyone is at Comic Con except me! Hung star Thomas Jane took a stroll around San Diego while he enjoyed a cigar earlier today. He attended the Give ‘Em Hell Malone Panel for his upcoming action flick.
Jane plays the role of Malone, a tough as nails private investigator who squares off with gangsters and their thugs to protect a valuable secret.

No wonder Comic Con tickets sold out so quickly! All the Twilight fangirls must have bought them in mass quantities!!
Thousands of Twilight fans lined up for the panel yesterday and to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars, Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz and Christian Serratos were all in attendance.

Two former Hobbits arrived at one of the hottest events this year, Comic Com! Dominic Monaghan and Elijah Wood arrived in San Diego yesterday.
Elijah is set to speak at the Focus Features: 9 panel taking place at Hall “H” from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. today. Also at this panel are Shane Acker, Tim Burton, Timur Bekmambetov, and Jennifer Connelly.
They will be discussing their upcoming film, “9.”
The action-packed adventure—opening nationwide 9/9/09—takes place after our world fell to pieces, when a group of “stitchpunk” creations must summon individual strengths well beyond their own proportions. While showcasing a stunning steampunk-styled visual brilliance, 9 dynamically explores the will to live, the power of community, and how one soul can change the world.
Monaghan is not listed as attending any panel he may just be there for fun or maybe he will attend the Lost discussion?!

Do I need one more reason to cry over not being at Comic Con? Sure I do, Johnny Depp! He was the surprise guest at the Alice in Wonderland panel earlier today.
The word on the streets is the actor walked in said five words and then disappeared!
According to E! News this is what went down.
After screening a custom-made trailer for his Comic-Con fans, director Burton asked the crowd if they would like to meet the “imaginary friend” that follows him around.
The crowd cheered and Depp, who plays the Mad Hatter, walked onstage in a button-up shirt and fitted black vest. He had long bangs sweeping the side of his face, and wore a thick leather bracelet.
After several moments of cheering, Depp whispered into the mic:
“Hey. Happy to be here.”
And then, poof, he was gone.
Moderator Patton Oswalt told the crowd that Depp could reappear later in the day, so “be nice to every guy you see dressed like Jack Sparrow.”
You gotta love some Johnny Depp!
