Daniel Dae Kim greets fans in London

With the second season of the US hit remake Hawaii Five-O getting ready to kick off this Autumn in both the US and the UK, Daniel Dae Kim crossed the pond to kick off promotions. The perfectly chiseled Kim greeted fans as he departed from ITV Studios in London, England on Tuesday, July 5th, 2011.

He visited with This Morning to discuss the new season and what kind of situations come up for his character Detective Chin Ho Kelly.

If you happen to live in Hawaii (or happen to be lucky enough to be visiting), you will get to preview the season premiere at Sunset on the Beach September 10th. The entire cast which includes Daniel, Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, and Grace Park will be attendance. As will two new recurring guests stars played by Terry O’Quinn and Tom Sizemore!

The rest of us will have to wait until Hawaii Five-O returns to CBS on Monday, September 19, 2011 only on CBS.

REVIEW: Hawaii Five-0 – 1.18 “Loa Aloha”

Loa Aloha:
Long Goodbye

I was mysteriously absent last week, and I apologize. I hope the rest of you didn’t spend a whole week without any shirtless McGarrett! Ok, I might have Googled a bit, just to make the week a bit easier.

The episode starts out grim as a judge and his daughter are out zip-lining through the Hawaii tree tops. The judge gets a mysterious phone call just before his daughter’s [Read more...]

REVIEW: Hawaii Five-0 – 1.16 “E Mālama”

To Protect

In tonight’s Hawaii Five-0 episode, we finally get to meet Danno’s (Scott Caan) rival, StepStan. Stan Parker is played by Mark Deklin, whom some of you may remember from the short lived Fox series Lone Star or his very successful stage career. Stan is certainly easy on the eyes, and has about 6″ on [Read more...]

REVIEW: Hawaii Five-0 – 1.15 “Kai e’e”

Kai e’e:
Tidal Wave

Could anything possibly be better than shirtless Scott Caan, badass Alex O’Loughlin, and football? Yes. Shirtless Scott, badass Alex, and season two of Veronica Mars. What? I’m not a fan of any of the teams in the playoffs, and I have a soft spot for Jason Dohring & Kristen Bell… I’ve got my own priorities over here. And sleep was one of them, so I apologize for not getting my stunning review out to you last night.

But, it’s Monday morning you say? You didn’t happen to miss this week’s Hawaii Five-0 did you?? I warned you that it would be on Sunday rather than it’s usually Monday slot. Surely you listened, because you wouldn’t have wanted to miss the opening scene of Kono (Grace Park) and Danno (Scott Caan) scantily clad on [Read more...]

REVIEW: Hawaii Five-0 – 1.14 “He Kane Hewa’ole”

He Kane Hewa’ole:
An Innocent Man

What was in the box? You really want to know don’t you? You’ve been tweeting about it all week. I’m going to tell you what’s in the box. Why? Because if you’d been paying attention to the promo shots all week, you’d have seen the severed head in the photo Kono (Grace Park) was showing to Dr. Watson (Reiko Aylesworth).

There is a pursuit on Kaluhaluha Hwy, headed toward Hooka Woopa Rd. I’m nearly positive that’s where Kono and Chin Ho got [Read more...]

PREVIEW: Hawaii Five-0 “He Kane Hewa’ole”

Aloha Five-0s! This week’s Hawaii Five-0 was a re-run, but it was a good one. A rare Kono-sentric episode wherein her old surfing mentor is killed whilst riding the waves. Hercules stops in for a visit and Kono almost gets some action (not from Kevin Sorbo, from his pseudo-son). Alas, some ruffians broke it up just before the action began. Some day Kono, some day…

Enough with the past, on with the future. There is a lot on the horizon for Hawaii Five-0, from the coveted [Read more...]

JoJo and Joel Davis Moore to guest star on Hawaii Five-0

Keck scooped some great news on the special post-AFC Hawaii Five-0 episode. Looks like pop singer JoJo will be guest starring as Courtney Russell, the daughter of a Tsunami Warner Center scientist who goes missing just as a huge storm is approaching Honolulu. Playing the missing mans second in command, Sheldon Tunney, will be actor Joel David Moore. Mister Moore has recently been in a number of successful endeavors such as Avatar, Fox’s Bones, and NBC’s Chuck. Of course, he was also in one of my all time favorite movies… Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. I mean, who doesn’t love that movie? It’s a cinematic masterpiece. Or, not… But, it’s damn funny!

Anyway, it appears CBS is working to get a [Read more...]
