Was there any doubt Matt Lucas would serve as David Walliams best man? The Alice in Wonderland star will be standing next to his best mate when he marries Dutch supermodel Lara Stone come May.
He says, “David’s my soulmate. He’s my brother. It’s weird when you’re in a double act. He’s never, ever let me down, and I hope I’ve never him. And this isn’t public knowledge but I’m gonna be best man at his wedding.”
His Little Britain co-star has been dating the twenty five year old beauty since May 2009.
After completing a non-stop cycling relay in England on Monday for charity, David Walliams can finally relax alongside his fiance Lara Stone. The recently engaged power couple went for a romantic stroll in London this afternoon.
David and his celebrity friends including Miranda Hart, Fearne Cotton, Russell Howard, Patrick Kielty, Jimmy Carr and Davina McCall helped raise £1 million during the 1,000-mile charity Sports Relief bike ride.

With a movie such as Alice in Wonderland, you can’t expect less than an all star premiere! Director Tim Burton and his partner Helena Bonham Carter, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Matt Lucas, David Walliams, Mia Wasikowska, Crispin Glover and my all time favorite Alan Rickman were all present on the red carpet at the Odeon Leicester Square on February 25, 2010 in London, England.
Even Avril Lavigne was there!
The 3D movie was inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic tale of the young girl who embarks upon an exciting adventure in Wonderland.
Hathaway, who plays the White Witch, had this to say about the film.
“This is Alice 10 years later… when she goes to Wonderland she’s experiencing a return to self and I think it’s a wonderful take on it.”

Little Britain David Walliams was photographed in full action mode as he trained alongside Radio DJ Fearne Cotton, Comedian Miranda Hart and TV presenter Davina McCall train on racing bikes for this years Sports Relief challenge.
Walliams has rounded up a bunch of celebrities to take part in a non-stop cycle relay from John O’Groats to Land’s End – beginning on March 1 – to raise money for Sports Relief. The team powered round this west London track whilst being lead by a camera crew hanging out the back of a Range Rover. They also had the help of a personal trainer.
The BT Sport Relief Cycle Challenge will take place from March 19th-21st.
Even though the temperatures are cool in London, being at the UK premiere of A Single Man would have warmed me right up! Director Tom Ford worked the red carpet alongside the stars of the film Colin Firth, Matthew Goode, Jon Kortajarena, and Nicholus Hoult at The Curzon Mayfair on February 1, 2010.
Also in attendance were Little Britain funnyman David Walliams, upcoming star of Clash of the Titans Luke Evans, designer Stella McCartney, and Elizabeth Hurley.
Firth’s wife Livia Giuggioli looked stunning as did Matthew Goode’s partner Sophie Dymoke. (No matter how jealous I am!)
A Single Man is currently in American theaters and will open in the United Kingdom on February 12th.
