Derek Hough and Kristin Cavallari: Practice makes perfect

With competition getting hot, you can’t blame dedicated members of Dancing with the Stars from trying to squeeze in as much practice time as humanly possible! Mr. Hotstuff Derek Hough and reality star Kristin Cavallari were spotted departing from the studio after rehearsal in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, September 8th, 2011.

Was Cavallari slightly exhausted after extended hours of dancing? She looks to be holding on to partner Mark Ballas for dear life in the parking lot!

Who could blame her? I don’t know how long I would last on a dancing reality show much less the stressful long practice hours.

But let’s talk about Derek and his muscular arms for a hot minute! The sweetheart in the grey tank top even stopped for a moment to sign fans for anxious fans.

Tune into the premiere of Dancing with the Stars on Monday, September 19th, 2011 on ABC.

Derek Hough strikes a pose on the street

I’m not sure if Derek Hough was aware that cameras were shooting him while looking sexy on a California corner, but he sure does look to be deep in thought! The Dancing with the Stars professional was photographed outside of the United Talent Agency in Beverly Hills on Thursday, August 11th, 2011.

Could he have been meeting with agents to talk about the possibility of him starring in the Dirty Dancing remake?

As a HUGE fan of the original movie, I’m kind of torn about whether or not a new one should be made. But I’m sure this happens to everyone who has a favorite movie that Hollywood ends up wanting to breathe new life to it.

So far, the remake is getting support from Jennifer Grey, who played Baby in the original opposite Patrick Swayze. Not to mention she was Hough’s partner in a season of DWTS! Also putting in her support is Swayze’s widow Lisa Niemi, so who am I to object?

At the very least I hope we can get some former castmembers like Jennifer to play a cameo like Patrick did in Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights in 2004.

Do you guys want to see Dirty Dancing back on the big screen?
