Ryan Lochte and Diego Boneta stun at the Alma Awards

With all the gorgeous ladies at the 2012 NCLR Alma Awards, we needed to highlight the hot boys who were also in attendance! Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte (whose mother is Cuban) and Rock of Ages hunk Diego Boneta looked dapper in a tux as they walked the red carpet at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium this evening.

Lochte wasn’t the only Olympian in attendance. We spotted him posing with the equally adorable Daniel (and fellow Cuban) Danell Leyva earlier in the night. Both men, along with Brenda Villa and Jessica Steffens (water polo), Leonel Manzano (track and field), and Marlen Esparza (boxing) were saluted during a special Olympics tribute.

And the the hotness didn’t end with Ryan and Diego! Check out who we spotted that had us drooling!

Jake Gyllenhaal may not be Hispanic but thanks to his End of Watch co-star Michael Peña (photo below Jake), he is an honorary Latino for the night! Next to Jake is Brazilian hunk Rodrigo Santoro who is followed by Wilmer Valderrama. Next to Michael in the bottom row is Guillermo Diaz (who we enjoyed watching this final season of Weeds) and last but certainly not least is director Robert Rodriguez.

Diego Boneta and Julianne Hough stay cool at the MTV Movie Awards

It was so great seeing Diego Boneta during his time in Miami and I’m beyond excited to see him in Rock Of Ages next week! (Check out our interview with Diego here)

The Mexican hunk hit the red carpet at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards held at Gibson Amphitheater on Sunday, June 3rd, 2012 in Universal City, California looking casual-yet-cute in a pair of skinny grey pants, a snug black tee and a leather jacket. Also making a special appearance was his beautiful co-star Julianne Hough who bared her midsection in a peplum Sally LaPointe dress which she paired with open-toed Jimmy Choo shoes.

During a fun interview with MTV, Hough confessed she once sent Daniel Radcliffe a love note when she was an extra on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in 2001.

“Well, I just want to say really quickly: Daniel, I gave you a love note during ‘The Sorcerer’s Stone,’ and I never heard back,” Hough said with a laugh, as co-star Boneta looked on dumbfounded.

“I didn’t know that!” he exclaimed of her early film role.

“I was in the first one, and you can see me twice,” Hough said. “I was Gryffindor.”

Rock of Ages hits theaters on June 15th.

Tom Cruise becomes Stacee Jaxx in new Rock of Ages trailer!

I can’t say that I’m a HUGE fan of musicals, never was. But after seeing my city front-and-center in the new Rock of Ages trailer, I realize I might have to change my mind!

Tom Cruise takes the stage as lead character Stacee Jaxx (which was filmed at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL) with co-stars Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta (check out our interview with Diego here) who star as Drew and Sherrie, two young people chasing their dreams in the big city.

When they meet, it’s love at first sight, though their romance will face a series of challenges. The film also stars Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin, Malin Ackerman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Paul Giamatti.

The trailer proves how amazing director Adam Shankman was in the creation of this film. Many parts of the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area stand-in for 1987 Los Angeles!

Rock of Ages is set to hit theaters on June 1st, 2012.

Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta take a Miami break

All work and no play makes Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta dull boys and girls…so that must be why the duo took some time this weekend for some fun in the sun! The Rock of Ages co-stars jumped into the pool with Julianne’s mom Mari Anne on Monday, July 10, 2011 in Miami Beach, Florida.

Julianne, who has been dating Ryan Seacrest since last spring, looked fresh faced and naturally beautiful without any make up. It’s a tough task but this former Dancing with the Stars professional has pulled it off effortlessly!

Poor Diego is not adapting to this horrible heat, he took to Twitter this afternoon to vent his frustrations.

SO HOT OUT!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Diego Boneta talks ‘Rock of Ages’, Miami & working with Tom Cruise

He’s already being called the “Hispanic Robert Pattinson,” but don’t think any of it has gone to his head. Diego Boneta is not only one of the hottest up-and-coming actors of our time but he is also one of the nicest, most down-to-Earth guys in the business.

Meeting Diego on Saturday, June 25th, 2011 was a spectacular experience as he welcomed me to join his family and friends while they splashed around in beautiful South Beach.

I have had my eye on the twenty year old hunk since seeing him in 90210 and during his guest appearance on Pretty Little Liars. You guys KNOW how good my hot boy radar is!

So when I heard he was in Miami shooting Adam Shankman’s Rock of Ages, I was anxious to meet him.

During our exclusive interview, Diego chats about his character Drew Boley, a young upstart who moves to Los Angeles in the late ’80s with dreams of becoming a rock star. He’s had to work really hard for this role, so you will find out real soon that he is much more than just a pretty face.

With all the stories that come out of Hollywood productions being chock full of diva actors, poor Diego must be having quite a hard time working with heavy hitters like Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand right?!

Diego Boneta and Paul Giamatti join Tom Cruise on set

Would you know it, just when I leave the country for a few days superstars Tom Cruise, Paul Giamatti, and Malin Akerman make their way to South Florida?! These latest shots were taken on set of the new musical-turned-motion picture Rock of Ages on Friday, June 18th, 2011.

We know that Tom has been in town since at least Wednesday when he was set to rehearse down South before beginning work soon thereafter. Giving fans their first look at his character, Warner Bros released this photo of the veteran actor dressed as Stacee Jaxx via USA Today yesterday.

Who knew he could go from fat and balding in Tropic Thunder to hot with long hair for this film?!

Also in the photographs are Shane Hartline who is playing the role of Jimmy the Bartender and some extras who rocked some pretty cool outfits. The guy in the golf cart you will see in the set is actually Tom Cruise himself who is being very seriously guarded from photographers and fans.

Russell Brand and Diego Boneta Rock On!

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve posted an update from the set of Rock of Ages! I won’t go into details as to WHY at this time but you should know that getting photographs off the set has become increasingly difficult but OBVIOUSLY not impossible!

While Alec Baldwin has wrapped up his scenes (at least for now) we did score some images of him while in costume. The long hair and the outfit looked hilarious on him, so you can’t blame me for not recognizing him the first time I saw him in the get up.

These are also the first images of Russell Brand to come of him in a totally different look. Now that Alec is all done I’m worried that Russell too will soon depart from the Sunshine State without me being able to have said hello!

Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta have also been keeping busy with their scenes. Julianne had the opportunity to show off her fit body in a mid-drift baring ensemble which featured a short denim skirt and a fanny pack!

Talk about a flashback!

Diego showed off his toned arms in a sleeveless shirt and tank top with jeans. Que lindo!

We can’t wait to see the first images of Catherine Zeta Jones who has already been busy rehearsing for her role. I have not had confirmation of her on the set as of yet but it’s just a matter of time before she is spotted at work.
