Nothing’s changed is right. Dysfunction and drunkenness were the words of the week on Desperate Housewives, which saw the return of Bree’s gay son Andrew and his booze swillin, marriage wrecking ways and a surprising development in the fate of Felicia Tilman. As for the other ladies on the lane it was business as usual.

Happy New Year folks. It seems like it’s been a coon’s age since all hell broke loose on Wisteria Lane and somebody shot Paul Young. The holidays are so exhausting, but not nearly exhausting as this increasingly ridiculous season of Desperate Housewives. I have a high tolerance for silliness on television, I really do, but I am at my wits end with the ladies of Wisteria Lane this year. What in the hell is going on with these people?

Two Marilyns & a basket of muffins on Desperate Housewives

It is Halloween on Wisteria Lane and everyone finds out what they are really afraid of. Thankfully, the scariest thing in the neighborhood isn’t Gay Lee in drag. There wasn’t much forward momentum this week but some fun was had and there was significant improvement in my campaign against seeing Teri Hatcher in her underwear. Sadly, I will have to invent a whole new drinking game now.

The cast of “Desperate Housewives” is spotted filming an episode on location today at Hollywood Presbyterian Church. Eva Longoria Parker’s husband, Tony Parker, paid a visit to the set.
