REVIEW: “Glee” Grilled Cheesus?
Any worries that I had about season two of Glee being light on plot and heavy on flashy artist tributes are now officially laid to rest. Glee had a come-to-Jesus episode tonight that set everything right in the world.
To kick things off, Finn saw the face of Jesus in his grilled cheese sandwich and had a religious epiphany. He dubbed the dairy deity “Grilled Cheesus” and proclaimed Him super delicious. Then he immediately fell to his knees in prayer, asking Grilled Cheesus for the opportunity to fondle Rachel’s awesome perky bosoms.
The next day Finn suggests that the Glee club put aside the [Read more...]

Jennifer Hudson comes back a winner to American Idol

The girl whose career rocketed to stardom after NOT winning ‘American Idol’ is returning to the series that voted her out. Jennifer Hudson, the Oscar-winning actress and singer, will reportedly be making a special appearance on the highly-popular FOX series. The Associated Press reports that someone close to the show revealed she will perform not live, but in a taped segment to appear in an upcoming episode. @ NY Daily News
It’s amazing the year that Jennifer Hudson has had. The Super Bowl, the DNC, some weird BET Award, etc. Unfortunately in her mind, I’m sure it may also be her worst. I think Idol has realized this season that big name stars alone were not going to bring back their ratings to astronomical heights. I see this as not only a marketing tool for former Idol contestants, but also Idol’s way of bringing back old characters much like they do on soaps. Don’t ask me how I know that. Here’s the Star-Spangled Banner vid from this year’s Super Bowl, I know you’ll enjoy it.
Cleveland Rocks! …for Kanye West anyways.

Kanye West has received high praise for his comic timing while recording a guest spot as the less-than-stellar rapper Kenny West in the forthcoming”Family Guy” spin-off,”The Cleveland Show”.
West’s first foray into animated comedy as rapper Kenny West will feature in an episode of the new sitcom alongside Oscar-nominated fellow guest-star Taraji P. Henson.
No doubt that amongst Peter, Stewie and Brian, Cleveland is one of my favorite characters on Family Guy and is certainly deserving of his own show. There is no doubt I will enjoy it as much as FG, and maybe even more than American Dad. We’ll see how Kanye’s performance goes. Most guest stars are very obvious and seem out of place (Simpsons), but according to the article, they’d love for him to be a regular on the show.
Maxim follows Eliza Dushku to the “Dollhouse”
It’s been hard to keep up with ED (Eliza Dushku, not erectile dysfunction) these days as she’s been flying through all the media outlets trying create some buzz about her new show on Fox, Dollhouse. I don’t watch the talk shows that much, but I still managed to catch her on Regis & Kelly and on Conan, where she looked HAWT. The show is about an organization that brainwashes people to serve other people in just about any way necessary be it romantic or otherwise. Think about it as Men in Black meets The Bourne Identity. It’s sounds like a goofy plot for a show, especially when starring ED, but with Joss Whedon (Buffy, The Vampire Slayer) driving the bus, it may certainly be worth watching… even if it is with the mute button on.
