Drew Barrymore visited with The Tonight Show with David Letterman last night looking mega glam! She is currently promoting her latest project, Grey Gardens, a film for HBO about the everyday lives of two women who lived at Grey Gardens, a decrepit 14-room mansion in West Hampton, New York.

Drew answers fan questions, gives advice to child actors, her diet secrets, why she has a tongue ring, and the Kennedy connection to the Grey Gardens story.

You can catch Grey Gardens on HBO on April 18th.

Ginnifer Goodwin visits Letterman

gg1

I guess its true when they say all good things must end. This season of Big Love has been exceptional! But this Sunday, Season 2 will end. =(

Actress Ginnifer Goodwin who plays the sweet & sexy third wife visited with David Letterman last night. I had never heard an interview with her and found her to be very much like her character.

She explains why she changed her name to Ginnifer, her role in He’s Just Not that into You, knowing her whole life she wanted to act, and sharing her home with raccoons.

Check out the Season Finale of Big Love this Sunday on HBO.

Drew Barrymore is anything but “Grey”

We got an exclusive first look at the colorful one-sheet featuring Drew Barrymore as real-life Little Edie Beale and Jessica Lange as her mother, Big Edie circa 1973. The Beales, who were relatives of Jackie Onassis, made headlines when they were discovered living as recluses in a decrepit East Hampton, NY mansion.

@ E!

Drew Barrymore has been doing the rounds on the talk shows about her latest project, Grey Gardens this week. She even Licked It For Ten on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon with whom she is really close to ever since they did First Pitch together. This sounds like an interesting story, one where life is stranger than fiction, I hope they do it justice.

FYI,  Oscar-winning actress Jessica Lange receives treatment for a broken collar bone sustained at her home in Minnesota. We hope she recovers soon.

Take A Leak: Eastbound & Down (w/ Will Ferrell)

Will Ferrell makes a full-time return to TV as executive producer, co-writer, and co-star in Eastbound & Down with up-and-coming funny guy Danny McBride. You might recognize Danny from Pineapple Express & Tropic Thunder, both which were big hits last year and seemingly a new member of WF’s Funny or Die crew. EB&D is already done filming and ready to go over at HBO. WF and HBO is sure to be a dangerously hysterical combination judging from what he’s already gotten away with at FoD and the ultra-tease from the HBO site (above). The mullet sported by the main character Kenny Powers (DMcB) is already priceless. For some reason, my immediate reaction was “I didn’t know Mike Piazza could act!”. No offense to Piazza, but I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what he would look like if he hadn’t made it to the MLB. Fittingly of course, since the show is about a washed-up baseball player still trying to earn his golden ticket to the majors.  The fact that any sport is involved leads me to hope that there will certainly be some physical comedy, which I would expect nothing less from the Talladega Nights/Semi-Pro/Spartan cheerleader genius that is Will Ferrell. Powers’ roid-rage in the trailer above makes me want to punch a hole in my wall with anticipation. I haven’t been this excited to have HBO since The Sopranos.

Big Love is coming back!

Why did it take so long for HBO to bring back “Big Love?”  I love this show!  The season returns on January 18th.  Check out this promo with the hot song by “The Black Keys” entitled, “Lies.”
