Colin Firth and Helen Mirren premiere ‘The Debt’ in London

The red carpet was on fire at The Curzon Mayfair for the UK premiere of The Debt on Wednesday, September 21st, 2011 in London, England. The films’ stars were on-hand for the celebration including Dame Helen Mirren, Tom Wilkinson, and Jessica Chastain.

Also in attendance was Colin Firth who was accompanied by his beautiful wife Livia Giuggioli.

The espionage thriller begins in 1997, as shocking news reaches retired Mossad secret agents Rachel (Mirren) and Stefan (Wilkinson) about their former colleague David (Ciarán Hinds). All three have been venerated for decades by their country because of the mission that they undertook back in 1966, when the trio (portrayed, respectively, by Chastain, Marton Csokas, and Sam Worthington) tracked down Nazi war criminal Vogel (Jesper Christensen) in East Berlin. At great risk, and at considerable personal cost, the team’s mission was accomplished – or was it?

The Debt is currently showing in US theaters.

Mary-Louise Parker and Bruce Willis are seeing “Red” in London

Even though it was a chilly night in London, Mary-Louise Parker took off her coat to walk the red carpet for the ‘Red’ premiere held at the Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday, October 19th, 2010 in London, England. She was joined by her A-lister co-stars Bruce Willis and Dame Helen Mirren who shoots a 50 caliber machine gun in the flick.

The Social Network may have dominated this weeks box office, but watch out! Early reviews for the Robert Schwentke (Time Travelers Wife and Flightplan) film say this movie is going to be pretty bad azz.

New poster debuts for ‘The Tempest’ featuring Helen Mirren

The one sheet for Academy Award nominated director Julie Taymor’s The Tempest has been released by Touchstone Pictures. In it, we get a glimpse of even more characters from the film.

Based on an adaptation of Shakespeare’s play, the film recounts the saga of sorcerer Prospero, who’s gender has been changed for the film and is actually a sorceress named Prospera played by Oscar winner Helen Mirren.

Helen Mirren makes no apologies for posing topless

Topless photographs of sixty four year old Helen Mirren got people talking. Some (including me!) think its fabulous that a woman of her age can be proud of her body and display it during a tasteful photo shoot.

The pictures were taken for New York Magazine in support of her new film, Love Ranch, which premiered at the Dolby Screening Room on Tuesday, June 29th, 2010 in New York City.

During a conversation with Collider.com she shared how much she really cares about what people say about her choice to go topless. When she was told people were upset she said, “Too bad!”
