Heroes star honored with key to the City of Miami

Happy Heroes Monday!! I’m proud to share with you all some wonderful news about one of your favorite actors on the show. Jimmy Jean-Louis was in Miami on Friday, January 8th to attend the Fifth Annual Haitian Independence Month Ceremony held at the Stephen P. Clark Center in the heart of downtown Miami.

As part of the ceremony, a resolution designating the month of January as Haitian Independence Month in Miami-Dade County was officially presented by members of the Board of County Commissioners. His Excellency Haiti Ambassador to the United States Raymond Alcide Joseph and Haitian superstar Jimmy Jean-Louis received the key to the City of Miami from Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Alvarez.

Get to know Heroes hottie Dawn Olivieri

One of the hottest new stars to emerge on the Heroes scene is Dawn Olivieri. The model/actress who rox extensive tattoos on the show recently spoke to my friend Nathalie who has a fabulous sci-fi blog called The Inside Trekker.

Here are some excerpts of their chat:

Q: Will we get to learn more about her powers this season?
A: Her powers will become more defined in the episodes coming in the new year.

Q: What was your first reaction upon learning what your character could do?
A: well, like many of the fans, there was so much that was unanswered. I had so many questions that i had to fill in the blanks myself. As an actor, its part of the job:)

Zachary Quinto looks yoga yummy

After a stressful few days without internet, I am proud to return with a Zachary Quinto post!

The Heroes hottie arrived for a yoga class in Los Angeles on December 27th. I wouldn’t mind checking out Quinto as he does some downward facing dog!

He must be doing something right. He was a part 2009′s most pirated movie, Star Trek! I have a feeling it had something to do with the Zachary Quinto/Chris Pine combo!

The JJ Abrams Sci/Fi reboot was downloaded almost 11 million times!

Our Hero: Jimmy Jean-Louis

As mysteriously as he arrived, The Haitian remains one of the most intriguing characters on television. I was put under his spell ever since his first appearance on the NBC hit, Heroes in the third episode of Season 1, One Giant Leap. After talking with so many fans of the show, I know you all are extremely interested in this amazing character and the only actor in the world that could have ever properly played him, Mr. Jimmy Jean-Louis.

I had the opportunity to chat with him last week, and purposely waited for our traditional “Heroes Monday” to share a bit of insight into the life of this great man who not only entertains us every week but also cares about the future of the children in his native Haiti.

Give us a question for Jimmy Jean-Louis!

jimmyjeanlouis

Heroes fans, did you think because our favorite show was on hiatus we would be able to hear from our favorite stars?

We will have the pleasure of speaking with actor Jimmy Jean-Louis a.k.a The Haitian, one of the most intriguing character on the show this week. Since you guys had such great questions when we had our interview series with Adrian Pasdar, I thought I would open this opportunity up to all fellow fans.

So much has happened on the show this season. Most notably with his character we learn his name is René.

Off-screen Jimmy has taken his star power and put it to good use to help his native Haiti. He created an amazing charity called Hollywood Unites for Haiti. A non profit organization whose mission is to promote sports and cultural activities for the underprivileged youth of Haiti.

I love with when celebrities give back to the community.

We want to hear your questions. Get them in before the day is over. I can’t wait to see your fabulosity!

Heroes on the Scene: Zachary Quinto & Milo Ventimiglia

duo

Two of the hottest guys on television, Zachary Quinto and Milo Ventimiglia were seen filming scenes from Heroes in downtown Los Angeles today.

These are cause for celebration today for tomorrow will be a sad day for fans. Adrian Pasdar’s character Nathan Petrelli will share an intense scene with his brother Peter before dying.

But as Adrian told us during our interview with him in May:

I think that one of the things we’ve all learned from this whole thing is that we need to make some things stick. If you’re dead then you come back, then you were never really dead then the next time somebody dies it doesn’t mean anything. The people are like, “oh they’ll be back.” So I think somethings have to stick. Some people have to stay dead.

The show will never be the same.
