Anne Hathaway belts out a tune in first Les Misérables trailer!

Not since Susan Boyle sang, “I Dreamed A Dream” on Britain’s Got Talent have I heard it sung so beautifully as Anne Hathaway does in the new trailer for Les Misérables. The video, which also shows clips of hunky co-stars Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman, was released this morning and has already become a top entertainment story.

(Take that Miami Zombie!)

An adaptation of the successful stage musical based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel set in 19th-century France, in which a paroled Prisoner 24601, Jean Valjean (Jackman), is released from prison and breaks parole to create a new life for himself while evading the grip of the persistent Inspector Javert (Crowe). Set in early 19th-century France, the story reaches resolution against the background of the July Revolution of 1832.

The film also stars Amanda Seyfried, Sacha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter, and Eddie Redmayne.

Watch for Les Misérables in theaters December 14th, 2012.

Hugh Jackman will bring magic to Broadway as Houdini

Though it won’t happen until the 2013-2014 season, we are excited to announce Hugh Jackman will be returning to Broadway in the role of legendary magician Harry Houdini! Entertainment Weekly says the show won’t be “strictly biographical, the story will focus on a battle between the enigmatic 20th-century illusionist and three women who became famous after claiming they could communicate with the dead.”

Jackman, who just wrapped-up his one-man show Hugh Jackman: Back on Broadway after ten weeks, is elated to be taking on this role.

“I have been deeply fascinated by the life of Harry Houdini since I was young, and in many ways I’ve been preparing for this role my whole life,” Jackman said in a statement to EW’s Pop Watch.”

Writing the musical is Aaron Sorkin, Jack O’Brien, of Hairspray fame, will serve as director and six-time Tony Award winner Stephen Schwartz will serve as composer.

With such talent behind it, I bet this production will score many Tony Awards in the future!

Hugh Jackman takes a bite of a little apple in The Big Apple

Oh if only I could die and be re-born an apple only to meet my end by being on the receiving end of a delicious bite from Hugh Jackman….I would do it! This has to be a first for me I must say, I’d never have imagined I’d be jealous of a fruit!

The Real Steel hunk-a-saurus rex was photographed with wife Deborah-Lee Furness and their daughter Ava enjoying the weather in New York, New York on Thursday, November 2nd, 2011. Poor Hugh looked surprised that the paparazzi would actually take an interest in what types of fruits he eats!

Speaking of the robotic action film which has been a hit with audiences, Mr. Jackman said there might be a sequel in the works! I had no idea it was set-up to be left open-ended for the possibility of a future film.

Hugh Jackman enjoys a dinner date with the family

Ever the family man, Hugh Jackman was surrounded by his loved ones as they made their way out of Locanda Verde Italian restaurant in New York’s Tribeca neighborhood on Sunday, October 23rd, 2011.

Deborra-Lee Furness, who has been married to the Wolverine hunk since 1996, cuddled up to son Oscar during the walk home while Hugh carried daughter Ava around his shoulders. And we all know how much young Ava loves making faces at the paparazzi!

Hugh’s latest project Real Steel took home second place at the box office this weekend raking in a total of $67,226,640 since it premiered earlier this month. The big winner however was Paranormal Activity 3 which brought in approximately $54,020,000 over the weekend.

Hugh Jackman and Evangeline Lilly premiere Real Steel in LA

She may have welcomed a baby boy 5 months ago, but Evangeline Lilly looks to have gotten her super fit bod back! The Canadian native was photographed in a stunning floor-length gown that had two sexy features; a plunging neckline that nearly exposed her bell button and a split that went clear up her thigh at the Real Steel World Premiere held at The Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, California on October 2nd, 2011.

She finished the look with a black belt cinching her waist and pair of black pumps. Just gorgeous!

Joining her on the red carpet was her hunky co-star Hugh Jackman and the youngest star of the film, Dakota Goyo.  He might be only 12-years-old but Goyo is not a newcomer to the big screen.  He recently played a younger version of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor for the Marvel superhero film along with countless other projects since 2007.

Real Steal takes place in the future where robots have replaced humans in boxing. Now that former boxer Charlie Kenton (Jackman) has no chance at becoming a champion, he becomes a small-time promoter. A twist of fate brings his son Max (Goyo) into his life who helps teach Charlie a thing or two about relationships and robots.

Can the duo combine forces and finally bring home a title?

Watch this fabulous family drama when it hits theaters on October 7th.

Hugh Jackman makes a splash in Sydney

Hugh Jackman made a splash in his native Sydney, Australia with his trainer on Tuesday, September 27th, 2011. The duo were spotted on beautiful Bondi Beach where they got a bit of a work-out in while the paparazzi snapped away.The 42-year-old is currently Down Under to promote his latest film, Real Steel in the country’s largest city.

I had the pleasure to watch an early preview last night and while I won’t give out any spoilers, I can tell you how pleasantly surprised I was by this film. I am neither a fan of boxing or of robots but if you had caught a glimpse of me during the showing, you would have seen a crazy girl cheering with her arms up in the air!

Catch Real Steel in theaters this Friday.

Hugh Jackman goes for a joy ride in London

No matter what Hugh Jackman is doing, he just oozes hotness!

The 42-year-old was spotted leaving the Radio 1 studios in London on September 13, 2011 atop a Brompton green and purple bicycle.

Hugh appears effortlessly cool while riding around town in jeans and a long sleeve black shirt topped off with shades and a smokin’ hot grin! That wife of his is one lucky gal!

The Aussie actor is currently in London promoting his new flick, Real Steel. In the film out October 7th, Jackman plays a former boxer who helps rebuild and train the perfect robot contender in this drama that is set in the future where 2,000 pound bots battle it out. Just another way for Hugh to show off his mega masculine ways!

The famed actor’s love for cycling matches his awesome bike! Anyone would look like a complete fool riding around on a bike that has super low handlebars and an incredibly pushed up seat. How does he do it? Well, only with the magical touch of Mr. Jackman, thats how!
