Robert Pattinson is rubbing elbows with Hollywood royalty! The Twilight star attended the premiere of the Quentin Tarantino film “Inglourious Basterds” at the 62nd Annual Cannes Film Festival today.
Pattinson chatted with Basterd star Brad Pitt and his lady love Angelina Jolie during a dinner held for the film last night.
“They spoke in the hallway. It didn’t seem like they knew each other that well, but the conversation was friendly,” a restaurant source told Usmagazine.com earlier today. “Brad shouted back to Rob, ‘Go inside and get something to eat.’ They all seemed happy.”
He is in Cannes promoting Twilight Saga: New Moon and Remember Me. A cocktail party was held for New Moon last night where Pattinson premiered never-before-seen footage to some lucky attendees!
The rest of us will get our chance to view an exclusive clip during the 2009 MTV Movie Awards on May 31st.

The duo attended the premiere of Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds at the 62nd Annual Cannes Film Festival.
The fashionable couple amazed fans, Angie in a cream colored Versace gown with a major slit up to her hips and Brad wore a Tom Ford tuxedo.

Brad Pitt & BJ Novak are “Basterds”!

If you haven’t noticed, Nazis are sooo hot this year. Valkyrie, Defiance, Miracle at St. Anna, and now Inglorious Basterds. This is the latest project for Quentin Tarantino, that with any luck will present WWII in a very different light. Not with Samurai swords and flying fight sequences, but hopefully some over-the -top Tarantino-ness. Leading the charge in this flick is Brad Pitt joined by some very familiar faces, which has also become common with Taratino at the wheel. Mike Myers (yes, that Mike Myers), from The Office BJ Novak, Eli Roth who is usually identified with horror films, Cloris Leachman (WTF?!), and Samuel L. (motherf#$%ing) Jackson. Needless to say, I think this movie is anything but predictable.

“The Office” hottie B.J. Novak was spotted getting his coffee fix this morning before heading in for work.
It’s no surprise that his character Ryan has not been seen around Dunder Mifflin. He has been filming for his role on the new Quentin Tarantino flick, “Inglourious Basterds.”
