One of the most fabulous actresses of all time, Meryl Streep attended a photocall for her latest film Julie and Julia at the 4th Annual Rome Film Festival yesterday.
Meryl stars as the beloved chef Julia Child who’s professional life becomes intertwined with blogger Julie Powell’s 2002 challenge to cook all the recipes in Child’s first book.
If you run to the theaters you can still catch this fun summer film.

Charlie Bewley and Cameron Bright better enjoy their anonymity now! After they appear as Volturi guards in The Twilight Saga: New Moon next month they won’t be able to walk out their front door without being followed by fans and paparazzi!
Bright is playing the role of Alec, brother to the character Jane played by Dakota Fanning while Charlie Bewley will play the role of Dimitri.
The duo are currently in Rome for the films premiere tonight at the 4th Annual Rome Film Festival.

If you are lucky enough to be attending Rome’s film festival, you have no countdown left to watch one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year, The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Jamie Campbell Bower who plays the role of Caius was spotted in Rome where he met with fans before the viewing. One lucky girl (apparently his girlfriend pretending to be a fan!) got a kiss from the vampire star after holding up a sign that said, “Jamie, We sold it all for the price of your kiss….in Rome.”
For the rest of us, we will have to wait another 29 days!

As if George Clooney hasn’t been spotted enough places recently, he was in Rome this morning at the International Rome Film Festival. He was there doing a press conference for his movie Up In the Air with the films director, Jason Reitman. The film stars Clooney as a corporate downsizing expert who travels the country firing people and racking up frequent flier miles. While showing the ropes to a new employee played by Anna Kendrick (Twilight‘s Jessica Stanley), he meets the women of his dreams in another frequent traveler, played by Vera Farmiga (The Departed).
FYI – Earlier this month, Anna Kendrick won the Palm Springs International Film Festival’s Rising Star award. By winning this, she joins the ranks of Emile Hirsch, Jessica Biel, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Scarlett Johansson.
