Samuel L Jackson and Robert Downey Jr Announce Full Avengers Cast

Today was a big day at Comic-Con. One of the highly anticipated events was the announcment of the complete cast for upcoming superhero flick The Avengers. During the Marvel Panel, Samuel L Jackson, Nick Fury, came out, bringing with him Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans at Capital America, Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson and… Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark. Robert then proceeded to introduce the rest of the cast, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and the much debated Hulk? Mark Ruffalo!

Spotted: Jeremy Renner

Oscar nominated actor Jeremy Renner looked surprised he was being photographed while he was running errands in Los Angeles earlier today. The break out star from The Hurt Locker was shopping at Phillip Press Master Platinumsmiths on West Sunset Boulevard.

Renner spoke to People Magazine recently and opened up about wanting to bring his musical abilities, he plays guitar and piano, onto the big screen!

“I’ve always wanted to do some sort of musical. That’s a dream for me. Maybe play Kurt Cobain.”

Make sure you cheer him on during the 82nd Annual Academy Awards being held on March 7th, 2010.

I know many of you have been waiting to get your first glimpse of Jeremy Renner on set of his new movie, The Town. The California native was on set with co-star Ben Affleck in Boston earlier today. As you can tell by the photo the scene got very intense with the introduction of a weapon.

Later the boys were photographed in full police man uniforms.
