Drew Barrymore and Freida Pinto support Sofia Coppola at Marni launch!

Fan of mixing patterns and color blocking? Then prepare to line-up at your local H&M store on March 8th when the special Marni Collection is unveiled to the public!

Those lucky enough to attend a special launch party, which took place at a beautiful Hollywood residence on Friday, February 17th, 2012, scored a special preview alongside celebrity fashionistas including Drew Barrymore, Freida Pinto, Lilly Collins, Milla Jovovich, Jessica Chastain, Imogen Poots, Noomi Rapace, and Winona Ryder.

Even Mel Gibson was there, even if he claims not to know the brand!

The event was hosted by Marni’s Founder and Creative Director, Consuelo Castiglioni, the Director of the Marni at H&M campaign, Sofia Coppola and Margareta van den Bosch, H&M´s Creative Advisor. I can’t imagine a more coveted party as of late!

Marni for H&M Accessories!

Around 200 guests gathered to celebrate Marni´s collaboration for H&M, a collection full of Marni’s signature print and color arriving just in time for spring.

“It has been an inspiring night, surrounded by a perfect setting and a great crowd. LA encapsulated the dream! It is not long before Marni at H&M is in the stores, and I am happy to share these magic moments with everybody.” Consuelo Castiglioni, Founder and Creative Director, Marni

It’s times like these that I start planning my long trip to West Palm Beach where my nearest H&M store is located!

Pieces will be available in around 260 stores worldwide as well as on-line.

Brad Pitt gets booed at Cannes?

Dressed in head-to-toe white, Brad Pitt and actress Jessica Chastain made a special appearance at “The Tree Of Life” Photocall held during the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on Monday, May 16th, 2011 in Cannes, France.

The highly anticipated Terrence Malick drama got mixed reviews, with the actors receiving a combination of cheers and jeers during the press conference. No bueno!

The film stars Pitt and Chastain as parents raising their three boys in Texas during the 1950′s. It is told from the perspective of the oldest son Jack, who is now an adult and remembering his childhood with a strict father.

With the split response from the audience, I’m not exactly sure I want to run out and see The Tree of Life when it hits theaters. It will open for limited viewing on May 27th in Los Angeles and New York.
