Jon Hamm is Mad about his dog!

I’ve been sitting here for the last five minutes trying to decide who’s cuter: Jon Hamm or his dog? The adorable twosome were spotted during a walk around the neighborhood in Los Angeles, California on Friday, December 16th, 2011.

I had the chance to preview Jon’s appearance on the second season of The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret last night and it was hilarious! You get so used to seeing the 40-year-old hunk in the role of advertising executive Don Draper on Mad Men that its refreshing to see him play such a different role.

He appears much sooner in the season than episode four as was previously announced. You will get to see him in the season premiere in the role of Dave’s (Blake Harrison from The Inbetweeners) butler who helps him out with even the tiniest of things like sleeping eight hours in his boxers shorts.

I’d love to know what Dave is up to this season, there is so much behind his character that we don’t know yet!

My beloved David Cross (Arrested Development) returns as the title character who continues to be a hot mess across the pond. Tune in to the season premiere of The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret and get some more Jon Hamm in your life, on Friday, January 6th, 2012 only on IFC.

Jon Hamm is loved by the ladies!

Even with a scarf, hat, and sunglasses, a group of lucky ladies still managed to recognize Mad Men hunk Jon Hamm! The 40-year-old was spotted by photographers (and swooning ladies alike) while making his way down the street to eat at Little Dom’s restaurant in Los Feliz, California on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011.

Can’t say that I blame them in the least!

Jon has been keeping busy on the set of the AMC hit (as seen in the images here) which is set to return during the Spring of 2012. And that is not a minute too soon as fans have been DYING to find out what has been going on with their favorite advertising executive.

I hope we get to see a lot more pictures from the set real soon. The costumes are so amazing!

Jon Hamm goes for a stroll on set of Mad Men

I am going to preface this post by asking you guys not to give me any Mad Menspoilers as I’ve only JUST been able to watch this amazing series and am still catching up! If you would like to make any comments about anything that has taken place in the first 3 seasons knock yourselves out, but anything beyond that must stay a secret!!

40-year-old, St. Louis native Jon Hamm was photographed on the set of Mad Men in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday, November 30th, 2011. For some reason this paparazzi was only able to capture one side of dear Don Draper but it is a pretty damn handsome side!

Jon has been keeping the buzz around the internet pretty busy today with a new clip of his guest appearance on IFC’s The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret.

The hilarious British/American hybrid comedy stars David Cross (Arrested Development) as an American who takes a job running the sales team selling the energy drink Thunder Muscle at the London branch of his company. He has no experience of British culture, knows nothing about sales, and has only one employee (played by The Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison).

Hamm will play the role of the butler to Todd’s British boss Dave, makes a series of “dumb robot” noises as part of a scheme to confuse Will Arnett’s character Brent Wilts.

The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret premieres Friday, January 6th at 10:30PM ET only on IFC.

New shots of Jon Hamm and his fierce eyes on ‘Mad Men’ set

Jon Hamm sightings are always pleasing to see, but Jon Hamm as Don Draper is just flat out fantastic!The Mad Men star was spotted on the set of his hit 60s drama series on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, looking quite handsome in a vintage gray suit and, of course, his classic slicked back hair. Jon was photographed filming a scene with on-screen wife, Jessica Pare.

Jon’s on-screen ex-wife, January Jones, was also seen on set in Los Angeles earlier this week giving fans a little peek at her new baby boy.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Hamm recently revealed that his days as Draper were almost given to Thomas Jane.

“Nobody knew who I was. The casting directors didn’t know who I was. I wasn’t on anybody’s lists. The funny thing was, I think they went to Thomas Jane for it, and they were told that Thomas Jane does not do television. Now starring in Hung, by the way.”

Can you imagine anyone else playing the brilliant ad executive? Jon is Don. Enough said!

Mad Men won’t be returning until March, but in the meantime, enjoy some delicious Draper!

Mad Men Back in Production

Today marked the first day of production on the fifth season of Mad Men, after quite the long delay due to contract negotiations between AMC and show creator, Matthew Weiner.

Other than the ridiculously handsome Jon Hamm aka Don Draper stepping into the directing chair for the premiere episode, no major plotlines have been reveled about the upcoming season that will be airing in early 2012.

According to TV Guide, a new playmate will be joining the Mad cast—a precocious 10-year-old boy. As for January Jones’ pregnancy, Weiner is still up in the air on whether to hide it or not.

As a beloved fan of this fabulous show, the dreadful agony of waiting is finally almost over. Season 5 is sure to please my every expectation!
