New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys help ring in the New Year

What better way to ring in the new year than with the New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys?! Who says you can’t bring back the good old days of the 90′s?

Donnie Wahlberg, Joe McIntyre, Jordan Knight, Danny Wood and my favorite Jonathan Knight were joined on stage by A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, and [Read more...]

NKOTB + BSB = Perfect Storm of Pop

Two of the biggest boy bands in the world are combining their synchronized dance moves and heavenly medleys to create the perfect storm of teen pop. Children of the 80s AND 90s rejoice because the New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys are hitting the road together in 2011.

Yes you read that correctly and this is not the 3rd layer of some Inception inspired dream where Leo DiCaprio has come to steal your love of boy bands. Donnie Wahlberg, Joe McIntyre, Danny Wood, Jon and Jordan Knight are teaming up with Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Nick Carter to wiggle and shimmy their way into your hearts one more time.

Show me the meaning of being excited!

New Kids on the Block bring it to Late Night

Our favorite Bean Town boys visited with Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote the release of their new dvd entitled Coming Home which released today. The New Kids on the Block performed a medley of their songs including “Tonight,” “Dirty Dancing,” “Right Stuff,” “Step by Step,” and my favorite song “Please Don’t Go Girl.”

The performance was even more amazing due to the fact that Jimmy’s house band THE ROOTS performed with them!!

Ya know, when I watch the boys perform it makes me want to “fave” each one of them but deep down inside I will always be a Jonathan Knight girl.

Check out the video below and don’t forget to pick up Coming Home in stores now!

New Kids on the Block set sail!

Is anyone more upset than me right now? Had I known my favorite boys from Beantown would be canceling their tour dates in South Florida I would have made the effort to get on this boat!

According to The Miami Herald, nearly 2,100 women paid more $1,000 each for a sold-out, three-day Carnival Cruise Lines trip that left Miami for the Bahamas on Friday. The girls will be spending 3 days with Jonathan, Donnie, Jordan, Danny and Joey on the Carnival Imagination to the Bahamas.

The boys will perform two nights, allowing half the passengers to come one night and the other half the next. Other events include meet and greets and photo ops.

Lucky bitches!

I love how Jimmy is totally making fun of that loser Jason Mesnick from The Bachelor. In the intro portion he chooses which New Kid he wants.  I would have picked Jon straight away!

Check out their performance of 2 in the Morning and the oldies medley.
