Joseph Gordon-Levitt and co-star Anna Kendrick made their arrival at the premiere of their latest drama-comedy, 50/50held at the Ziegfeld Theater on Monday, September 26th, 2011 in New York City, New York. Joining him on the carpet were co-stars Anjelica Huston and Seth Rogen–who also produced the film.

Levitt kept it classic (and handsome as always!) in a black suit with a white button down and matching black tie. The petite Kendrick looked super chic in a Georges Hobeika lavender mini from their fall 2011 collection and metallic strappy heels.

50/50 tells the story of Levitt’s character, Adam, a 27-year-old who is diagnosed with cancer and his struggle to beat the disease.

I was invited to attend an early screening of the film last month and thoroughly enjoyed Levitt’s performance along with that of the supporting actors who helped mold this film into a true-to-life tale, one that unfortunately many people deal with on a daily basis. The story of cancer is definitely a sad one, but luckily Adam has the help of his friends and family and the film manages to brings on a sense of comical relief to help aid him during such a difficult time.

Ms. Kendrick stars as Dr. Katherine “Katie” McKay, Adam’s young and inexperienced therapist assigned to him by the hospital while Rogen takes on the role of Adam’s best friend Kyle.

50/50 hits theaters September 30th.
